Lillard just got the best of Kyrie again -- is he (Kyrie) as good as you thought?

That's shyt that someone just looking at a boxscore would say.

Lillard flat out wins ball games.
The shyt that Lillard is doing with his clutch play, Kyrie was doing last year. That clutch shyt is fukking whimsical. He's making 3's at a crazy clip; Steph Curry esque. I want to see Lillard put the stats Kyrie did his first 2 years in Cleveland with no Batum, Mathews, and LMA.

The way that Lillard scores, his offensive game would translate on any team IMO. I think he'd put up the same stats regardless, and I'd argue on a team like Cleveland he'd probably put up even more numbers.

There's a lot of weapons on that Portland team.

How would he put up more numbers in Cle when he's a below average finisher at the rim and would draw much more double teams? Unless he's gonna knock down contested 3's like Steph Curry.

Look at CP3 in LA. First and second round exits his entire career and it will be the same this year. In today's NBA a team can not win with the point guard as the best player.

I don't agree with this. I moreso believe it's that a team cannot win with the point guard being the #1 scoring option. I think the Clips can get it done because while CP3 is their best player, Blake is the #1 scoring option. Same thing with those later era big 3 Celtics when Rondo was the best player on the team.
