The H
A person making $40k a year takes home $32,000 after taxes. That's $16,000 every 6 months. If they're only paying like $300 or so a month in rent that leaves them $14,200 after that. That leaves them with $4,200 to spend on whatever they want in those 6 months. That's very doable if you're willing to make sacrifices (what do those people do outside of work and going home anyways?)

She said it's 10-20 people and Im assuming not everyone is contributing $10k every 6 months. Some might contribute a little more sometimes and some might contribute less (most likely those with more successful business contributing more).
You're making a lot of assumptions
And in normal susu, people contribute equal shares
So like I said, this is a different type of group economics
And why did she say they have to pay it back after the business is successful?

Been there and done that too. People on your "wavelength" are all good until the cash starts coming it. Then all of a sudden the don't want to put in the sweat equality or feel like they are owed more.

It all sounds good in theory but the self hatred is too ingrained in many to get passed it. I hope you find that group but at this point the only people's who will be in my group will be employees or contractors.

We had a disagreement in the other thread about black people's ambition being hampered. I understand where you are coming from. Even though systemic racism exists and there's a lack of generational wealth, there are things that we can improve on as a community. We don't practice group economics at all. We can start there. I think reparations will speed things up, but I almost think we need to get on code like black immigrants and Asians before we get the check, so we don't blow it. I respect you and your opinion.

The US government literally bombed us when we tried to collectively come together financially. None of these other "groups" quite understand how the US government has systematically destroyed black collectivism from day one.

Common sense should tell you that when you double and triple team the best player someone is always left open.

All these clowns saying just save need to get a job at Wal-Mart making $9 an hour 40hrs a week no ot no savings and multiple bills with no extra income then find 10 more people in the exact same situation and see how long it takes to come up with 10gs .

You nikkas don't live in reality

:unimpressed:

According to dose numbers 46% of Black Americans make 35K or less. That number has always been around 50%.

You know damn well that working poor is essentially poor. You not making it in America on 35K in 2020.

35K to 100K is barely "Middle Class". It is easy for black folks to drop out of that green area to the blue or red area. Especially with no generational wealth as a safety net.

You can't be real "Middle Class" (I hate that fukking term, it should be Middle INCOME) and be one or two paychecks from having to sell possessions or borrow money from friends or family.

Also how many of those high earning black folks are burdened with student loan debt?

NO. Black people did not fight for the right to be "under the white man's ass". We fought for inclusion in the country WE HAD A MAJOR PART IN CREATING. Not that fish smelling sl@nt eyed bat eater or his people. We've been here since the beginning of this country. We should not have had to live separately in a land we contributed to and were the major part of the wealth creation as second class citizens living in rural or urban ghettoes.

Any black person that rides with this position, man........

:patrice: Uh, those numbers look like the majority of us are in poverty. Don't tell me you taking those poverty guidelines serious, breh. :skip:

I'll bite :yeshrug:

1. Please point out where the charts state most of us are in poverty.
2. By all means post the correct "serious" poverty guidelines then.

My position updates with new assessments.:ehh:

Until then I restate my original updated position...

The charts shows historically (since 1967 towards the end of the Civil Rights Movement mind you) 50% or more of us have been poor or working poor. Half, most, semantics aside that fukking number is astronomical. Hell 33% of your population being poor or working poor is very high.

How can you see those numbers and think blacks are doing good AS A COLLECTIVE?

1. The chart does not show 50% or more of us have been poor or working poor.
This is before mentioning that the chart doesn't even make a distinction of where working poor and working "class" starts/ends
(I agree with the previous poster with substituting the socialist notion of "class" with "income")

This is also before mentioning I never used "poor" as the delineator I used "poverty".
Lucky for everyone involved I've provided a poverty guideline chart as a guide to make that distinction.
Which segues into the next point...

2. Please quote where I said "blacks are doing good AS A COLLECTIVE"
I specifically said...
stop acting like the majority of African Americans are in poverty.

Bruh, the point is that the Asian dude didn't say that ...it is a fictitious quote.
I can only assume aimed at spurring folks into action in spite of the mythical Mr Chang
(I like to call it the Asian Willie lynch letter.)

That dude is not named Chang(Chinese) and is actually the ex Sony cofounder Akio Morita(Japanese)

Now if you can actually find this non-named "Asian Beauty Supply owner" Ling Ling chic, Mr. Chang, classic Willie lynch .....or even Akio Morita himself saying this kinda stuff I'll change my position :yeshrug::ehh:

I believe it is 100% our responsibility to save ourselves. BP keep looking to the people who oppress us to save us. It makes absolutely no since whatsoever.

Thank you for the compliment.
