He should have been fired the first time he came out there with a pencil behind his ear and a goddamn laminated play sheet.
He was having some of his best years and a top 10 QB under Caldwell... would eat under Eric B... they have talent on offense
Mike Vrabel was player, never an assistant so he doesn't count I'll give you Flores and Judge though. Saban is tricky because it's Alabama - who would get good recruits regardless. And even then, Saban has been undressed several times in the National Championship game.
When they hired Quinn they should've let him trade Stafford. If I'm gonna get fired, I'd rather go out with the QB I picked.
"Bill was my coach; he traded me to Kansas City and we didn't talk for a couple of months, maybe a year," Vrabel said. "Then we became friends and I used him as a resource when I started my coaching career. I still talk to him a lot now." As for Saban, that pretty much goes for every great coach defensive wise. The rule changes have made it hard.
Good. Patricia should have been fired earlier in the season and then if the Lions were still struggling like they are now fire Bob Quinn at the end of the season.
You mean when he used to close his eyes, throw up jump balls and Megatron used to catch them over defenders? Tim Tebow has more career playoff wins than Stafford.
Nah. The last decent coach the Lions had before Caldwell was Wanye Fontes. The way the Lions did Caldwell was dirty too b/c I think they extended his contract the same year and turned around and fired him.
The Lions just need to start from scratch and do a complete rebuild. New coach. New GM. Send Stafford packing he's been in Detroit over 10+ years. The Ford family are incompetent owners though.
Do you want him to go to the Funboys (like several has suggested in the Seum) and cause us problems for years to come?
