If you move to a different city.

But really, who's truly gonna stop someone from becoming a fan of a team if they want to be one? I mean, it ain't like there's a "fan task force" out here enforcing fan loyalty. :pachaha:

You're basically asking "when is it acceptable to switch allegiances", and I'm sayin' "who said it AIN'T acceptable?".

Perhaps you should strive for clarity in future posts, you done confused yourself up in this hoe. :pachaha:

This forum "The Coli" namesake suggests individuals who take this sports shyt seriously. As such, I figure most consider it atrocious to switch up team allegiances all willy nilly. It's not like dude asked this question at his local grocery store.

If a well liked, revered, and beloved player on your has to part ways due to the team having to rebuild, I think it's acceptable to then root for the player and consequently the team (i.e. Peyton Manning)

If you're team doesnt make the playoffs, it's acceptable to cheer for another team in the playoffs

Youre right, i wrote my thread under the pretense that I would be having a discussion with sensible "fans" that hold loyalty to their specific team in a high regard not fakkits like you that like to argue for the sake of argueing..........

Dawg, I'm not trying to be difficult, seriously. I even contributed to the thread.

We got this local sports radio guy (Mike Missinelli) who likes to fancy himself as some sort of "authority" on whether a fan's allegience is acceptable or not....and that shyt irritates the hell outta me, so.....yeah, lol....

No offense to your thread, brotha.....

I think the only acceptable way you can switch allegiances is if you're rooting for a team BECAUSE your home state doesn't have a team, then they suddenly get one, or if they have one, and lose that team.
