flo-rida originally tried to come out on some hard core hip hop shyt when he first came out, but when he got a taste of that pop success, he simply stayed in that lane instead. can't even knock his hustle. my daughter was just playing the newest flo-rida earlier today on her phone.

Yep, and when you put it that way, French Montana actually the only one who didn't "sell out". He still making street shyt, altho his rhymes ain't as good as they used to be. He still didn't go the pop route. Had that big hit "Luh Ya Papi" with J-LO and "Feelin Myself" with Miley Cyrus, and a bunch of misc. songs with different pop stars/ RnB singers.
