Yep, and when you put it that way, French Montana actually the only one who didn't "sell out". He still making street shyt, altho his rhymes ain't as good as they used to be. He still didn't go the pop route. Had that big hit "Luh Ya Papi" with J-LO and "Feelin Myself" with Miley Cyrus, and a bunch of misc. songs with different pop stars/ RnB singers.

I dont even know what to say about french montana. dude is one of the worst mainstream rappers I have ever heard.

And from what I kno and heard, Pitbull used to be on that "real rap" shyt and could actually spit so some say... I can never hate on dude for havin his own lane and winning like a mf... But thts the hustler in me. The music fan side of me is mostly like :camby:.

But imagine how dope it is for Pitbull and Flo Rida to cash these checks, fukk these thots, push these foreigns... And not have to worry bout the chitlin circut of nightclubs and goons lookin to Shy Glizzy yo ass for a Worldstar vid.

i've been saying... dude is the poor, poor man's akon

think how akon went from appealing to strictly the urban audience with "locked up" and "ghetto" to the whole suit-wering "i'm so paid" international swagger. pitbull copied the same blueprint... except dude is like 100x less talened.
