Me and the homie was supposed to go to that show. Something came up at the last minute and I couldnt go. He went without
me and said it was LIVE. Fam came thru the next day with a Lovin It 12inch vinyl signed by Phonte lol
we lost our minds when phonte came through. I had so much fun that night....god I miss ann arbor sometimes. Growing up out there, there are so many stories like that.

Walking by blind pig, seeing a line of thoro lookin folk and being like "whos here tonight?"

"Ghostface :obama:"

":wtf: :damn: :blessed:"

*gets in line*

That place is great because you get NEW artists, and ESTABLISHED artists doing college tours.

You know what for the most part I listen to The Listening, Chitlin Circuit 1.5 and The Minstrel Show. I mean I bought Getback too but it didn't really feel the same. I mainly listen to their earlier work than the later. But you right they were a duo in the tail end of their run. I always thought Khrysis played a key part too. And alot of people have said that too. But it was a good run do you think a reunion might happen?

Khrysis did play a huge part. he recorded all of the post Listening material and did a lot of production for both Phonte and Pooh both as solo artists as well as for Little Brother. I can confidently say that a reunion will never happen. I wish it would, but it won't.

After Outkast, Little Brother is the one group I'd be absolutely ecstatic for if they got back together. That shyt Questlove pulled last month on Twitter had me temporarily hyperventilating like an overweight Christian woman who just witnessed the return of Jesus. I actually think it was we, the fans who contributed mostly to them not getting back together because of the bullshyt trying to paint Big Pooh as an inferior MC. People like to gloss over this but there was a time when nikkas was playing Pooh like he was borderline wack, I KNOW he felt some type of way about that and now that Phonte and 9th have settled their differences Pooh still keeps his distance and does his own thing.

Boy I miss those Minstrel Show days, blasting Lovin it with my homie on the way to work:wow:

Pooh did feel that way. I've told this story a good 3-4 times about me doing the T-Hug skit at the end of Watch Me, but that's why the skit was there. People were hating on Pooh, calling him Pippen to Phonte's Jordan, etc, and he wanted to do a skit and then address it on Sincerely Yours. Which is one of the most underrated songs in LB's discography, just like Pooh.

Pooh was never wack, and from Sleepers on was actually really really dope. It just for whatever reason became easy for people to keep giving him shyt. I wasn't around for any of the Getback recordings, but I really hope that he didn't feel that way as time went on.

Pooh has some fukking show stealing verses. Life of the Party is one of my favorite examples. Big Pooh killed that shyt.

Fat Boy Fresh 3.5 is out by the way: http://rapperbigpooh.bandcamp.com/music

Being that 9th and Phonte hooked up again and I think 9th did a beat for Big Pooh recently (might be mistaken) is the friction between Pooh and Phonte at this point?

Anything you can share as your opinion why you dont see a reunion happening? I know at one point or another you were close to that camp, so any details you can provide are appreciated.

The Listening is one of the best albums to drop since 2000. Easily.

Top 10.
minstrel show is better. but listening is still dope. little brother fell off when 9th fell off. khrysis is wack compared to 9th wonder. let's be real. minstrel show is probably one of the top 10 albums of the past decade, in my opinion.

I also think Minstrel Show is song for song a better album. I disagree about Khrysis being wack compared to 9th. You can disagree with 9th, but 9th himself will tell you (below around 0:55) that Khrysis is a more talented beatmaker. I can completely understand someone saying that they prefer 9th Wonder's beats, or sound, or whatever, more than Khrysis. But objectively you at least have to be willing to say that Khrysis can bring a ton of different sounds to the table. He's gone through so many phases, and he's one of the most talented producers alive IMO. I'm not ragging on 9th in the least, he's an amazing producer. But let's not pretend that Khrysis is "wack" by any means.

Listen around 55 seconds in. In general it's a dope video on the Away Team (Sean Boog & Khrysis).
