I think most people assumed that the leagues would eventually merge- but NO ONE could have imagined it would take less than 2 years .

Trump also was a big proponent of LIV, so I guess he had some inside knowledge just to how weak the PGA tour would become. They folded like some lawn chairs.




I wouldn't be surprised if they start inching their way towards Basketball. All you need is to coax a few older stars away with gross amounts of $$, and do the same with one or two high prospects. Eventually, they merge with the NBA and become part owners of the league. Light work for them

Don't think it would work with the 3 majors, kinda for the reason you just said. No one is going to care if pass their prime stars go somewhere else and play for big money.
