I mean, even Rory and Hideki are set for life (as will their children's children).

However, Will just had a major surgery and may not even see his net worth climb above $10mm.

He is completely within his rights to square up with Monahan on sight. :yeshrug:

Yea they both good but three HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS breh?!?!!?

Edit- I JUST read the other perks Liv offered Hideki. That boy a fool. I’m sorry. A pure goddamn fool.

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
I think they wouldn't be doing it necessarily to lure away the NBA fanbase en masse, but it would force a lot of networks to pay attention, and probably play nice in negotiations in broadcast deals, but LIV basketball would be playing the long game if it existed

They'd automatically be the desired destination of players who are just outside of the NBA, and over time would be able to develop a legitimate product that could someday challenge the NBA, but it would take time.

Definitely would take time, years not months like the PGA, but its completely plausible.

Guys like Bron, Curry, and KD have already cemented their legacy and each of them is particularly interested in ownership whether it be teams or leagues (pickleball, etc.).

And since networks are looking for a reason to not pay these huge TV deals, all you need are a couple of big time stars to jump ship which could cause ratings to slip just enough. And if that were to happen, you best believe the NBA would be ALL EARS.

People forget that the Saudi's aint trying to field competing league's. Their end goal is ownership of already established leagues via mergers.

Tiger crazy for turning down such a massive amount but he gonna always be good regardless financial wise

However, Rory, Hideki, and Will should be absolutely LIVID.

I think Rory and Hideki will be fine. Those guys got major bags from Nike and other companies who want them as spokesperson. Hideki probably got a lot of deals in Japan after that Masters win.

Players like Will, Hovland, Cantlay, Xander, Morikawa, Homa, top 10 guys who don't have the sponsorship contracts like Rory and Spieth, those guys would have gotten 8 figure contracts.

Do those endorsements add up to three HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS breh?

What Is Hideki Matsuyama's Net Worth?

Additionally this win resulted in many speculating what impact this could have on golf in Japan and according to sports marketing expert Bob Dorfman; "Barring any career-ending injury or scandal, I'd say a Masters win is easily worth $600 million for Matsuyama," he told Sportico.

Joining LIV would be considered a major scandal for the Japanese, imo.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Lol...American white people can never bring up Human Rights.

Saudis shouldve starved the PGA out
lol, and that’s the way that all these groups want it. The Saudis literally have unlimited amounts of money, you can’t even begin to try to assess their worth, the only thing stopping them from asserting their will on everybody else in the world, and becoming completely brazen against their enemies, unchecked, is the optics of allying with the same people that butcher free press, and any dissidents. I am not the one when it comes time to claim America is innocent, not at all, but this will not stop with the PGA. These orgs are gonna start working with hate groups, and far right pieces of shyt, out in the open, and nobody can say shyt about it. It’s just not the direction we should be going in.

I believe this is sort of slippery slope fallacy.

This will not result in the NBA to doing business with the KKK. Or the NFL to hold events with Antifa.

The Saud's are simply a wealthy group of individuals with skeleton's in their closet. No different than any other nation in the world.

I mean, China has continues to violate human right laws, but no one bats an eye. Huge corporations utilize slave labor all the time, but we all continue to wear their products.

They already work with Hate Groups. This is nothing new. Hollywood’s first Blockbuster film was an ode to white supremacy that currently has a 100% Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

If the money is right. The dubiousness of the morals are alright

Listen, I know what I’m saying makes it sound like I am naive to what is actually happening, I am not, I understand all of this. I fukking hate all of this shyt, as well, and am aware of the fact that even though publicly these entities might virtue signal, there are all sorts of back room deals being cut. I know that money and power rules the world. I’m just saying, it seems in the last few years, all proprietary has been completely dissolved, and it’s not just involving the Saudis. We have seen leaders of nations become completely unhinged, in the public eye, without consequences. There is a lot of underhanded shyt that this country has done, but just in a few short years, we have really fast tracked to complete and total idiocracy, and I guess my biggest complaint is that the public has become completely complacent. This Liv thing is just a small part of an overall sense of the general public not only just shrugging ig off, but a lot of folks are cheering on shyt like this. Okay, I understand, this does not affect like 99% of us in any meaningful way, but it just seems like all these monsters are yelling the quiet part out loud, and people are apathetic. I’m not sure the “I like my hate out in the open” crowd winning is a good thing in the grand scheme of things, especially considering that those folks don’t want it out in the open so they can identify and fight it, but to see where they can go and find a handout for being complacent, maybe even supportive.

Not that I know off. From my understanding they have a good diplomatic relationship. Japan invest in Saudi and Saudi supplies Japan with oil
