Breh...them flare ups are hell. I haven't had terrible ones like my younger years, but once it hits...it really is a whole different type of pain.

Like straight up the devil is tickling you with fiery hands :whoa:

Trust me breh. About 1.5 years ago, I had diarrhea for 2 months straight, I kid you not. It was hell and made no sense. I was extremely worried that something was really wrong with me. I went to the gastroenterologist and got a colonoscopy done. Thank God everything was okay.

I mean. If I were you, I would get that checked out. My wife has the same thing but her condition is not as brutal as mines. Then again, she's hard headed because she goes in on cheese, knowing damn well that shyt will send her to the bathroom for hours.
Okay. I actually meant to bring it up with my doctor on Tuesday during my physical but I forgot so when he calls me on Friday to go over my bloodwork I will let him know about that and tell him I need to get tested.

What kind of testing do they do?

I know I have some mild form of ibs. I get really painful stomach cramps at night. Sometimes I feel like in need to shyt only as soon as I sit down, the cramps and needing to shyt feeling goes away. Then 20min after getting back in bed, I get the bad cramps again and I just have to deal with it. I don’t eat fried foods, or drink like that and don’t like soda. Almost never drink it. I also feel overly bloated even when I don’t eat much at all.

I’m going to do a body flush and go back vegetarian again for a bit to shock my body. Hopefully that help.

Do you eat a lot of Dairy?

I actually became lactose intolerant later in life. So I love eating dairy. Pizza, burgers, ice cream all of it.

When I started getting into my 40’s I started having digestion problems and getting mad diarrhea. I realized it was from dairy specifically that was causing it. Now I have to eat lactose pills before I eat any dairy or it’s going to give me stomach pains and diarrhea.

There is also a direct connection between your stomach and brain. Anxiety, stress and mental health issues can have a direct negative impact on your gastrointestinal health.

The brain has a direct effect on the stomach and intestines. For example, the very thought of eating can release the stomach's juices before food gets there. This connection goes both ways. A troubled intestine can send signals to the brain, just as a troubled brain can send signals to the gut. Therefore, a person's stomach or intestinal distress can be the cause or the product of anxiety, stress, or depression. That's because the brain and the gastrointestinal (GI) system are intimately connected.

Excellent read for people with stomach problems!

Nope. I had actually made a point not to eat dairy thinking I became lactose intolerant. I had eaten a bowl of cereal with almond milk thinking “I’m good. :smugbiden:“ only to get awakened by these fukking cramps. I was livid. I remember saying out loud, “It’s not even real milk!!” :damn:

Doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Havent tried gluten free yet though. :yeshrug:

I have to eat near a bathroom. Forever.

I used to suffer from this horribly until I found out I was we allergic to gluten. Once I cut the gluten out my IBS went away. But remember the days of being afraid to take long trips because I knew if I ate I’d have to use the restroom 10 minutes later and be in there for 45 minutes
