I know you guys don't agree with me because most of you are in your 20s, but you can't hurt a troll by responding to them. It only enhances what they want. Trolls want attention and he has succeeded.
True. They are like terminators...they can't be reasoned with and they won't stop.
The best thing that could happen is for some old school cat to do what they actually did in the old school and put hands on this clown. But good thing for him is most of them at this point are too mature to act out as they would have in their youth.

akademiks is partially right. too many ogs want respect but have nothing to their name. why would you expect young kids to look up to you when you sold all your publishing to jews for a house

i respect the older hip hop legends. in terms of talent. in terms of business? no. because if they were respectable in that realm then we would own the genre. we do not because the old heads failed in acquiring ownership and was more interested in cars houses jewelry. even worse they suck at budgeting their money. which is why most of them are dusty. they have no money for personal upkeep. and all the drugs and alcohol they took in the 90s and 2000s is catching up to them

and nikkas need to stop saying akademiks woulda never been allowed in the culture back then. the culture had wendy williams and star and both went untouched. the romanticizing of the past is corny and has to stop

Ok…now we have a response

Honestly this topic is so layered. A lot of people are super emotional but there is truth in your statement. The older generation, bless their hearts, sold “the culture” up the river and played their part in what exist now. Short term thinking and full on access gave the outsiders the keys to the kingdom

Akademiks is nothing more than a modern day Elliot Wilson who played it similar

This is a microcosm of trying to impart wisdom on a lot of little nikkax. They look you up and down and if you don’t got it they’re not trying to hear it

This conversation can get deep

You never see other genres shytting on their past gen artists who paved the way, they celebrate them
Other genres haven't endorsed shallowness and disrespect majorly as hip-hop has. How many rap songs over the decades push the message "it's all about me and getting mine?" What other genre is flooded with songs where the artists say "f*ck you" and "we don't give a f*ck about y'all" over melodies?

Hip-hop also has always had a big thing about rebellion and going against those those that represent any type of authority. Instead of letting older heads put them on to game there's always a bunch of dumb nikkas that think they invented the game.

yeah, no young nikka wants to take advice from an older man who has a dusty look with little to nothing to his name in comparison to how heavy his hip hop legacy is. thats human nature. these nikkas in this thread and the older rappers are getting mad at human nature which shows you how illogically emotional they are. like it is what it is. this is the older rapper’s fault for selling our culture up the river and not thinking long term

at this point, why would LL even dignify @AkaDemiK with a response even??
Being honest, Ak has a finger on the pulse of hip hop currently. His word can sway opinion. I mean, there's no doubting this so yeah, if he says some shyt absolutely outlandish, LL should speak on it. Cut that shyt down before it goes too far.

Ak is Charlamagne's son. He knows what he's doing, he's not a fool. He's in his shock jock bag at the moment.

We should ignore him, sure, but we can't so here we are.

Case in point, pure Howard Stern theater of the mind bullshyt.
