Many celebs hung out with Trump back in the day. Trump was literally a celebrity before entering politics.

John Legend is in one of those pics, and he HATES Trump and is a huge Democrat.

LL hung out with then-VP Kamala Harris at the White House back in 2022. So, I highly doubt that LL is a Trumper; he's just making a tone-deaf neutral statement. Maybe he's trying to appease CBS execs.
Yeah, you can somewhat give a celebrity a "pass" if they associated with Trump prior to 2015/2016. He was a literal celebrity. After he became president, though?! :pacspit:
