LL would have won because more women liked him and he'd take it the comedy route. KRS would win on the street and have LL's ass whooped.

After LL got his azz beat he would call up Alpo/AZ and have KRS killed. L had them street connections:myman:

I prefer LL... KRS was always super wack to me; even the song dude posted above, KRS has some elementary ass flow and delivery

This is close but I would give the edge to L

Battle: to close to call. Tie
albums: both had bangers for 10 years then wack shyt afterwards. I liked LL albums better. LL
Freestyle: Off the top KRS would slay LL. But Old School style LL would get the edge. KRS
Live: Two of the best EVER Tie
Lyrically: Both can rock over any beat with a multitude of styles and subject mater but LL was more advanced with the rhyme schemes...not by much but enough. LL

LL > KRS

i refuse to conform
KRS wasn't on Ra/Kane/G Rap or LL with the rhyme schemes in the late 80s/early 90s but when he went solo in 93 he step up his schemes up.

yes he was

will all be explained
why destruction is a game
see I'm not insane
in fact I'm kind of rational
when I be asking
yo who is more dramatical

krs-one rhyme schemes was ridiculous

I don't agree with this

first of all LL came out first. his style was 'old school'. then when Paid in Full and Criminal Minded came out, that was seen as the 'new school'. BDK and KGR were a couple years after that

LL in 87

KRS in 87

who's style was more advanced at that point?

LL > KRS

ll was never more advanced or a better emcee.

also,...ll had to be mentored.

krs did not.

technically krs was the most ahead of his time emcee actually ever.

as he was the first new school emcee.

who did not lean or base his skills rubrick on oldschool way of thought amalgamated melle mel/caz/moe dee.

or in ll's case the stylings of silver fox.

as he was a complete original with his more deliberate clear slow technical based flow.
where his actual technical rubrick is overlooked, as well as his other skills, constantly.

plus he is the inventor or person, whose flow.

the slow flow is the most copied flow in the history of rap.

along with the greatest clarity and content base in the history of rap, EVER!!

clarity that is the judge and rubrick.

that every rapper in the history of rap after south bronx making an album has or will be judged against, PERIOD!!

next, radio is a high rating album, but not an actual original released classic,..

as the first incarnstion of i need love, dear yvette at the time was one of the worst records ever.

best records on radio:

i need a beat : which is not the enfamous long version
rock the bells
you'll rock
can't live without my radio

incomparison to krs taking the kony crown.

then stomping on it,...and declaring himself the teacher.

kings lose crown,..teachers stay intelligent bodies the idea of the boy king and melle mel's past title, in one fell swoop.

he also,..was the only challenger as an amateur.

to defeat the actual original undisputed goat, melle mel.

plus answered any and every challenge appropiately.

including destroying the entire sellout genre, of hip-house.

from, the city of chicago's draw for the entire eighties till ten tre.
when he served cool rock steady after visiting chicago public highschools.

leading students in fight the violence chants in cps high school hallways of the entire students and faculty through out chicago.

ll, alternatively played defjam puppet and only contributed his presence to the stop the violence movement via the recording of the video. while also never contributing on record to the plight of black america till 93's ill forgotten classic after the fact, all we got left is the beat, on 14 shots to the dome. more than four to five years after krs had spearheaded and elongated the culturized knowledge of self draw for rap and the actual culture of hiphop.

album wise, criminal minded was the first perfect classic.

which contains the first clear slow flow.

including the tracklist content rubrick used for judging and creating every high quality rap record in the history of rap.

plus, cm spawned the best first perfect classic album mixtapes ever.

in a man and his music, the yellow and green versions.

not to mention, cm, includes the bridge is over.

which deaded the greatest collective crew of overly skilled all signed emcees in one fell swoop.

which was the follow up to the argueable next greatest diss record, EVER!!

in the south bronx,..which supercede'd biters in the city.

when it comes to establishing the exact factual cultural history.
of what borough is directly responsible for the original locale of the actual culture, of hiphop.
then he followed it with argueably an even better perfect classic, by any&all means necessary, as well. which included the new school equivalent but better upgrade to moe dee's go see the doctor on jimmy.
which also spearheaded red alert as a national dj icon as well.

on top of the greatest display of slow flow on essays of bdp-ism, in this time period.

while also,..showing diplomacy in hiphop third greatest loss.

in the murder of scott la rock.

after the deaths of cowboy and one half of double trouble, which predated scott death.
these are only a small glimmer of the impact of just his first two albums.

which i can go furter indepth with....if you and wacky wanna get tabled a bit more.
