thats the thing. on that same album LL had "why do think they call it dope"

if we replaced all LL's singles with the raw records that he actually had, this would be a different convo

i picked KRS but i cant let yall play LL like he was wack or something

nobody is saying ll is wack.

i go to bat for ll harder than anyone in this community's history historically.

yet in a discussion versus the true goat, krs.

ll is not on that level by the intangibles skillwise or culturally
that is where the discusssion and choosing te better emcee historically lies.

in that ll,..is not on par with krs when it comes to the intangibles, content or cultural submissions. needed to be awarded the title of goat over krs.

plus krs took out the last goat as an amateur. then went on to take out the crew that included future goat considerations.

plus, the crew that had an emcee.

who was in talks of the goat consideration for that time, as well.

ll later surpassed bdk on pink cookies for the best smooth vocals and delivery all time on some player shyt.

yet,..by 93,..krs was clear and away the goat for five years.

then in 93, smacked around more heavyweight contemporaries in cube and xclann.

while, ll leaned on treach stylings deliverywise, in certain instsnces.

inn93 both were attacked by rolling stones seeking to establish themselves erroneously as a credible hiphop/rap outlet media wose.

so we could both say ll and krs suffered from negative rollingstones propaganda perception mediawise.

which hurt both until,..they both re-invented themselves.

yet,..in that krs was still the goat and untouched.

Rakim >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>any EMCEE EVER:lolbron:

krs = best emcee in hiphop ever.

krs even has a longer track record.

of recent classic records and outings than rakim, in the last few years to expand on his dominance.

no Im not, all Im saying is content has HUGE importance that influences your legacy. no one cares that Cube wasnt the most intricate lyricist, but his content is what cements his legacy, for example.

KRS is master of none ? :merchant: :childplease:
nikka u done lost your goddam mind.

lol this is in the era where KRS was a fukking beast and put out at least two albums better than LLs right ? :heh: the same era where bridge is over came out, and still reigns as the ultimate diss track that still is powerful to this day

LL was never actually considered better by heads at the time or any other relevant time either. you can go ahead and discuss "multifacetism" but the fact remains you haven't even made a point how he is that....all you do is speak in some vague points...

Radio/BAD/Walking With A Panther >>>>>>>>Criminal Minded/By All Means/Blueprint:yes:

U must be that type of guy eatin a tv dinner with L's draws in ya hamper...Y ya Illin B??

Classic!!
LL Cool J - I'm That Type Of Guy - YouTube
I have never met a hip-hop head (not a casual pop fan) who liked I'm That Type of Guy. Like I said, it was arguably the worst hip-hop song ever at the time. It was sub-Young MC status. And the video was even worse.

KRS has too many wack azz albums after 97, while Ra takes heed to the motto Quality over Quantity. KRS tries to rap about EVERYTHING...NICCA U ain't that good. Sometimes U need to sit on back!!

What U went out in the streets of America and took a poll...FOH!! Video was ahead of its time. L's lyrics were tongue and cheek and that ill bassline.
