Yeah it is...arguably the best album of 1990. That alone puts it's in contention. Whether U like the album or not doesn't stop it from being a true classic.
no it doesnt. Ive never said I dont like the album, and the definition of 'classic' to me is something that is exceptionally good...TO ME.

also theres no way msiku is better than amerikkkas most wanted

Id take fear of black planet, edutainment and wanted dead or alive over mama said too.

so no, to me its barely top 5 of 1990 if that. and its not close to being in contention for the GOAT album.

and if u try to bring that "your opinion doesnt matter" bullshyt its not like many people on this forum will put mama said in their top 1-2 albums.

better than Let the Rhythm Hit Em? :scheme:

^^^that album, One For All, To the East Blackwards, AMW, Fear of a Black Planet, Edutainment, People's Instinctive Travels..., Business as Usual >>>> Mama Said Knock You Out

Mama Said was alright, but I remember not liking the b-side of the tape at all

Chill with hyperbole...1991 was one of the best years during the Golden ERA (87-96)

That doesn't changed that fact that 1990 was a great year or LL put out a Classic album.

These were all Good to Great in 1990...many were Classics!!

Mama Said shyts on Edutainment(good but not great album) and is better than Wanted.

LTRHE, AMW and Fear are just as good if not better than Mama. Never said Mama was the best of 90 just one of the VERY best and one of the GOAT albums of all time. Majority of the GOAT albums come from the Golden Era(87-96) anyway.

Whether U like and don't like or think its:ehh:...Mama Said Knock You Out is regarded as a Classic.

no way, I wasted way too many batteries fast-fowarding through Milky Cereal, Jingling Baby, and 6 Minutes Of Pleasure

Edutainment got played straight through

"I gotta 100 gun 200 clips, going to New York, New York..."

:dj2:

real talk, KRS kept me interested. LL was just full of himself, crooning females and shyt. LL had some good songs on Mama Said, but personally I would pick the KRS album every time :manny:

True.

The tiebreaker would have to be bedroom performance imo.

You'd think that would go to Todd, but dont sleep on KRS.

That nikka spit some Dj Quik type shyt on that "Im In Love With A Stripper" South Bronx Remix.

"Most think Im concerned with rhymes and note pads, but im into rippin off a nice hoes pad. If its still drippin, kris aint trippin, that p*ssy im still lickin, pizza sause lookin face, i ate it all after I said grace......The Teacher"

:wtf::pachaha:
