I still haven’t peeped yet but todays Sunday so I’ll get round to it at somepoint today hopefully.

What’s the diff between the retail and the advance/leak to anyone who’s heard both?

Just wondering if it’s worth finding a link for the advance/leak if there’s any significant diff between songs - the collector/ocd in me always almost needs every version

@TheDarceKnight any insight breh?
The advance sounds identical to me breh. The joint with Yayo was censored on the Advance version, but other than that I don't hear a single difference

Incoming long post:

We got 2 interviews (Budden and GQ) and 1 vid so far

I wonder if he’s gonna do some LA Leakers, Sway or Flex freestyles

Sound wise, like somebody else said, it’s basically the same type of music he’s been making the past 10 years so if you like that, you’ll like this. There’s still punchlines sprinkled in, just not how they were used in the early 2000s.

He’s more of a dropping gems amongst multis rapper now rather than a punchline every other bar. I think the only rapper from that time period that hasn’t evolved from that flow is Cassidy so when ppl say they miss the old Banks, it don’t be makin sense to me when you got ppl like Cassidy still using that flow and ppl saying it’s outdated. Fab, Banks, Budden, etc all stopped using that flow

There’s some songs where Banks voice sounds like old Banks tho. Mix wise, this is his 3rd best mixed project of the last 12 years. HFM2, CC2 and this seem to be the only ones that got mixed properly

“Fell in Love” bang in the whip. It’s not my fav but clearly that need to be the single. He needs to actually invest money in that song cuz that’s probably the 1 song DJs would play

I know he likes using these same producers but man he could get more polished versions of the sound he’s going for with the other producers that keep getting brought up. I was listening to French new album like damn what if Banks or Kiss had these beats

AON Live It Up sounds perfect, like an album and better than both COTIs.

Honestly most of the tapes banks has dropped in the past 11 years have been better than both the COTIs. It’s crazy what a little of good managing by hovain and promo can do cause people are listening to this but they don’t even know his previous work is where it’s really at

Like if Already Made was recorded/mixed better it could’ve been a good single

The only mixtapes the COTIs might be better than is Halloween Havoc 2, I only liked 5 songs off that

He should film videos for his best older songs to reintroduce them people too like he did with the 5 and better series after Beamer Benz or Bentley took off

Yes I remember that. Plus the material is original compared to the five and better series where it was the old mixtape era where it was freestyles/remixes. After CC2 besides the freestyle series, all his music was original so it would be cool to see videos for some of these songs. I do feel like he missed his time with a lot of shyt cause a video for a FNO song in 2013 would hit different compared to banks doing it in 2022 but I’m still here for it

My favorite Banks release is still V5 after all these years, but I already like this COTI2 album better than some of his previous ones. I definitely still want him to link up with more livelier producers, which includes Harry Fraud as well. I need a rest from Cartune and especially Jerm and Doe Pesci lmao

This grew on me a lot to the point I prefer it over the first one now, but those first few weak tracks are a poor way to start of the album of, it gets better as it goes on tho

As others have said tho he really needs to expand a little bit on production, if you listen to both of these albums back to back there is a lot of very Repetitive sounding production
