Those beats are better imo. Secondly, the beats I hate the most are dead roses and Murda one which are two tracks where he’s not going for that gritty sound you like to talk about anyway. And thirdly I actually did buy the album on Apple Music.

You’re talking about gritty sounding beats but you’re missing the point. Benny had an album full of gritty beats on Tana Talk 4 and nobody was complaining about the quality of the beats because alchemist handled the bulk of the production as opposed to cartune beatz.

Also, not trying to hate on the homie cartune because I loved empathy and sidewalks. Hopefully he keeps grinding and becomes more consistent and continues to grow but the difference between the beats on Tana Talk 4 and COTI are night and day.

Those are both better 95% of the beats on COTI2 imo.

The beat to reminder too. fukk man that whole tape is damn near flawless.

The beats from the 2011-2017 projects with 2017 being the return of blue Fridays are all better than the COTIs. Not saying the COTIs are trash by any means but I feel like there’s half of banks fans like us and another half who think we’re whining and want trap or “goofy” beats even tho banks did a trap album himself. Not to mention Conway the machine bodied the Hot beat by young thug

Banks from V6-HH3 was different than Banks today...Having two kids will change ya and he also said starting with COTI1 that he was going with the young guys for the beats maybe 1-2 of his next 5 projects that he announced he will go back to that 2011-2017 sounds
