I tell you what. Banks is one of the few that really makes me listen to every word. I mean, I hear every word when I listen to rap, but I'm a production head. I follow producers, I wanna know what they sampled, how they flipped it, etc. Speaking of...does the sample on Do or Die sound familiar to anyone else?
There are a few rappers where they leave me hanging onto every word, and I always look forward to Banks' tapes because he's one of them.
BTW, is it just me or is this one of Yayos better verses on Work Hard?

peeped the entire mixtape last night and i gotta say, Banks has found his niche again, he sounds hungry like he did back in his prime. there's alot of growth in his rhymes, i like when i see an artist evolve to something else than just a MC who can spit punchlines and metaphors, him & Joe Budden are the only two who's doing that right now. the only thing i want him to do is start working with heavy hitters again, get Alchemist, Just Blaze, Havoc, etc.
