nah HFM 2 wasn't that great, that album had some good songs but it's for certain his mixtapes are better than his albums. i've been listening to Banks for a long ass time bruh i ain't new to his music. this joint is better than the majority of past stuff.
I'm not talking about your opinion on his music. You said he "found his niche" and "there's a lot of growth"

He's been rapping about the same shyt since 2010. Unless you're comparing his music to what he was dropping in his early career

I dont understand why he doesnt work with alc or even havoc that often

Their beats fit his new style very well

Wouldn't mind hearing banks on jake one too
Jake One would be crucial. Can't believe I forgot him. I agree about Havoc. I remember I had an old Scratch magazine where Banks said Havoc was his favorite producer ever, and made his favorite beats to rap over. He used him on HFM, TBW, and RA, but after that I can't think of much. Maybe a random joint here or there.

nah he hasn't been rhyming about mature shyt like this 2010, he might of touched on certain situations but he just started doing this since his last FNO mixtape.

I didn't like HFM2 that much but I do think he really solidified his new style in 2011 on Cold Corner 2, then on through V6, Failure's No Option, Halloween Havoc 2, and this here.

Lotta cats think CC2 is the best. I'm torn. I always liked FNO and CC2. This here may turn out to be my favorite of the "2011 and beyond" style. I definitely like this more than Halloween Havoc 2, which was still hard.
