I haven't listened to this yet, but somebody be honest here, is this mixtape some precise, raw ass lyrics and content over 1994 back alley NY depressing beats?

alot of these beats are more polished, some songs are uplifting and hold some serious content on here. there's a few beats that are dull though.

I didn't like HFM2 that much but I do think he really solidified his new style in 2011 on Cold Corner 2, then on through V6, Failure's No Option, Halloween Havoc 2, and this here.

Lotta cats think CC2 is the best. I'm torn. I always liked FNO and CC2. This here may turn out to be my favorite of the "2011 and beyond" style. I definitely like this more than Halloween Havoc 2, which was still hard.

i messed with FNO alot when it dropped, even went back to listen to it recently before this dropped. also went back to listen to a select few songs off of HH2 as well. but i'm liking the growth he shows on here, he hasn't shown it this much in his career.

FNO is kind of a hard one for me. It dropped at honestly the worst time in my entire life. That project is the soundtrack to a Lot of unhappy memories.

Oddly it still might be my favorite though.

yea music sometimes marks time with certain people. people could really go back and recall what they went thru with music which is crazy. that tape was dope though.

Damn. Same here friend. Would rep if I could. She had to move halfway across the country for work, and I remember listening to FNO and the Boldy James/Alchemist album while helping her pack. We stayed together for another 6-7 months before it died, but that was the loneliest winter ever. It's cool though, because I bumped FNO this weekend and I wasn't as bummed out as usual.
