X isn't a better lyricist G'z. How many times can you rhyme cruddy and bloody? Lol. Thats his 2pac enemy and Hennessy. I love DMX...he can not write or flow like Banks. DMX is a way better artist, it's not close...he's a way better performer...you feel his shyt way way more, not close...on some move the crowd, microphone controller, master of ceremonies shyt, yes, X is the better MC. But this whole issue is based on lyricism, X questioned his pen...that's stupid of him brudda, you know that. He could have questioned almost anything else lol.

im a banks stan but to be honest though, knowing banks curved him for a feature.. he has no right to be in his feelings over dmx shunning him right back in a conversation
He didn't curve prime DMX...he curved DMX who is known throughout the industry for always being 2 hours late to sessions...on top of him not being on top of his game as a rapper anymore as well.

X moves people. Banks does not.

Lyricism to me is nothing more than a crazy pen...what you write being not easily duplicated on a skill level. If anybody could write that bullshyt chicken scratch you spittin then you're no lyricist, imo.

I get what you are saying. Someone like Banks or Black Thought would have crazy pen games to some.
Crazy pen could mean a lot of things though.
Bullsh*t chicken scratch could also result from a crazy pen. Writing about complex things in a simple way for anyone to understand. That is the sign of a good writer, an effective communicator. X wins in a landslide in that regard. Banks can't duplicate what X does. Not even close.
