Yea I’m confused by the hate DMX is getting on here. Guess they never were fans of his or even know his music catalog maybe it’s a age thing.

These Gen Z cats listen to what Eminem recommends. People dont know what a legit "DMX the game" event wad, when DMX himself came out in the Summer of 1998. Had the whole world barking, reciting the entire album by heart, had X himself preaching in churches, Ruff Ryders biker groups all throughout BX, Harlem, Yonkers, and beyond.

Yea I got into hip hop around the time Ryde Or Die Vol 1 was buzzing back in late 99 or 98. DMX was all over MTV, VH1 & BET. I was in junior high at the time. His influence was just like 50’s. It’s definitely a age thing. I also grew up on G-Unit’s music as well so I witnessed both groups blow up.
