This is very true, BUT it negates NOTHING I said. Banks was hot for 1 album. After that it was over commercially. X was hotter then banks ever was, in his prime, and it lasted 3-4 albums.

DDmx's stature , helped sell rr compilations, helped sell eve etc etc
Banks sold records off 50's back and didn't spawn the success of any underlings or side projects.
