Im coming from a point where from 2003-2011 he was BIG...Platnum album platfum songs...Biggest rap group...Arguably best Mixtape in CC2 and HFM2 in 2010 with Gold Album Beamer Benz...Then 2012 to now not much as far as fame...I would agree with he should of sustained his 2003-2011 popularity because he had the skill to but he was plenty big for 6-7 years...The shyt changed with Kanye and Lil waynearound 08-09 rap hip hop changed...and he chose not to change but my piint is he was plentyl big for a good amount of time he just decided not to change and does what he does...FOr me the first AON Failures no option in 2013 is gospel and changed my life.
He wasn't big that entire time, he got hot twice. 03 to like 05. Then 10-11.

I’ll always wonder how his career would’ve played out of the deal with GOOD music panned out. Seeing how Kanye has been it might not have made much of a difference but who knows.

Naw. G-unit as a whole had been dead. Beamer Benz or Bentley was the last good look. Good music banks would've benefited hugely from the Kanye association. Would've been on features and on the comps.

Just the best songs off both tapes in my opinion. I don't think the second one can fukk with the first at all. The only other tape post 2010 from Banks I think might be as good, if not better, is Cold Corner 2. @Tunez know what's up :wow:

EDIT: Thought you said LIU was better and I got in my feelings :russ:
I always said LIU over FNO but now that I look at it that tracklist is crazy lol

Keep Up is my shyt

smh then hes gonna be mad when it does 10k first week.. stays self sabotaging
10k is being generous

Washed 2000s rappers do like 4-5k

Jim Jones projects don’t break 5k 1st week and he gets all the industry praise and no hate & he’s been visible on Love & Hip Hop.

it’s probably the right move for him at this time until he has more to talk about. All nikkas gonna do is ask him about the old G-Unit days & 50 Cent.

He probably doesn’t want to talk about it.

banks could never be overrated :wow:, but yea he'd have a lot more hipster and casual fans

So how does he plan on getting eyes outside of his core fans on his album? *Any* member of a legendary group is going to be asked questions about their hey day Banks isnt an exception.

The only thing I can think of is he’s hoping the music will speak for itself and he’s comfortable enough to not be pressed to work the circuit for every last unit.

I feel him on the level that he’s never been about the press and if he’s content then it is what is it. He’s fortunate to be living comfortably with the way record labels fukk the artists. And the quality of his music is the reason his fan base is so loyal but on the other hand he should def be regarded more highly. People on here still think he’s a one trick punchline rapper smh
