Judging from what you posted, he has to do a lot more.. but it depends on if he’s trying to simply just feed his hardcore fans or have a late career resurgence like others have
he hasn’t had a full project in 5 years.. all teasing the fans with 1 freestyle a year and occasionally popping up on a Griselda record does is let us know he ain’t retired
as a fan, I’m happy with the body of work we’ve gotten overtime and even more appreciative that most of it is free... but the reason most of it is free is his fault... makes no sense why multiple mixtapes full of original music can only be found on DatPiff and YouTube
the last videos he shot are the ones 50 made him shoot.. I think I can speak for most Banks stans that the fact that he even appears in his own COTI trailer without 50 forcing him to is a plus
I really wish Banks would get with Roc Nation so he can get to a Jim Jones or Fat Joe level but they’ll force him to come out the house so he probably don’t want that

Who started in 1999-2001 time and is still releasing music? name more than 10 rappers. He was off of G unit when he did the HH2 vids he had two kids 2019-2020...From 2001-2018 he was constant with tracks every year great mixtapes 3 solo albums, grammy nominations and platinum and gold records..Hes not pop rap he doesn't want the fame a Stan would know.
He never says he wants money or needs money from Fans...If he wants to make music to be free then that is his choice its not a mistake.

all valid points, here’s my response tho:
1) Lil Wayne, Fabolous, T.I., Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Royce Da 5’9”, Styles P, Juicy J, Fat Joe and Jim Jones are all rappers from the early 90s to early 2000s still dropping music every 1-2 years with enough features in between.. my argument with Banks is that he’ll literally disappear and leave his fans hanging until Vado or Griselda make him rap again
2) he wasn’t off G Unit when he made the HH2 videos because Eif Rivera directed them.. thats 50 right hand man so you can tell 50 influenced that... even the videos like Big Bully were directed by 50... this is where I give Banks and Hovain credit for this new rollout because this is the first time since Banks left 50 that he’s doing more than just dropping the music on DatPiff then going on hiatus
3) yeah you can tell he doesn’t make music for money... I think he could’ve established a 2nd resurgence if he released that Gangsta Grillz over the trap beats but he had too much pride to release it
I’ll give him a pass for the break he took when he had 2 kids tho lol but I would’ve been satisfied if he finished the At Your Request series or gave us CC3 anyway... us Banks fans take whatever we can get at this point. He could’ve dropped the full 80s Baby track at least lol

This project needs to be flawless. If not people are gonna write him off for good. This is why it's not good to put yourself in a box by starving fans or the world any type of new material.

Besides his core fans or whoever knows about him he's not as much in the public eye to be checking for. In this day and age you have to constantly drop something. I think this will be good but i'm not sure how others feels.
