Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
You lost best defensive center in splitter , baynes, Joseph and neli. Those are huge losses. Joseph and splitter going to hurt. I'm sure the spurs will be fine though

:wtf:

Those aren't huge losses, especially when you consider the fact they have a young guy they can consistently run offense through which had been a problem for them. Aldridge can carry them offensively if need be.

If he went anywhere else this wouldn't be that big of a deal, but going to the Spurs is massive.

Considering depth at center those are huge losses. You're banking (no pun) on Duncan's production to remain the same at 39. Long term it's good they have two great assets kawhi and Aldridge. Tony parker is finished, rated 2nd worst pg defensively in many metrics with a great defensive center in splitter helping him. Manus done as well. Corey would be great taking parkers minutes. But that's now done.

Trail Blazers fire Kim Hughes, assistant coach who said LaMarcus Aldridge is leaving the franchise

Trail Blazers assistant coach Kim Hughes has been fired by the team, The Oregonian/Oregonlive has learned, days after his comments to an Indiana television station about the future of free agent LaMarcus Aldridge went viral.

NBA.com was the first with knowledge of the move and The Oregonian confirmed it.

"We can confirm Mr. Hughes is no longer with the team,'' Neil Olshey, Blazers president of basketball operations, said on Saturday. "It is our policy to otherwise refrain from commenting on personnel matters.''

Hughes, who has been the Blazers' big man coach for the past three seasons, told WTHI television that Aldridge was leaving the Blazers in free agency, which enraged team officials, who said Hughes had no knowledge of the team's free agent proceedings.

The Terre Haute, Ind., station was interviewing Hughes while he was at a camp held by Blazers forward Meyers Leonard in Leonard's hometown of Robinson, Ill.

"Well, people don't realize we just went young,'' Hughes said in the interview. "We didn't publicize it, but we lost LaMarcus Aldridge. It hasn't been declared yet, but I'm sure he won't come back. We will go young.''

The interview was taped on June 27, the day after the NBA Draft and the day after Blazers' president of basketball operations Neil Olshey made a spirited denial of national reports that Aldridge had told the team he was leaving.

Hughes, 63, has spent 25 years in the NBA as a player, coach and scout. He came to the Blazers after serving as an assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers from 2003-2010. He was the interim head coach of the Clippers for the final 33 games of the 2009-2010 season, when he went 8-25.

That's not a huge loss, no matter how hard you try to frame it as one getting Aldridge and losing Splitter is not some massive loss. Baynes played 16mpg on the season last year, Joseph didn't get off the bench during the playoffs and Splitter was hot garbage in the series vs the Clippers.
Your repeating the same thing over and over we are just going to have to disagree

Your projecting "concern" on me, I'm talking objectively as a fan of basketball. Spurs were already one of the best offensive teams , losing your best big defender is a huge loss your OK to disagree.
