The Fiend should have took an L to put over a fresh face performer but that's not how they book anymore. They have no idea how to create stars.

They are just praying that Goldberg vs. Reigns or Cena or whoever is gonna fill seats in Tampa because right now them shyts ain't even sold out yet.

I'm laughing at how far WWE has fallen these past couple years.. shyts wild :mjlol:

I'm a Goldberg fan, but if he was gonna do a longer run he should've kept the 2017 run going while the magic was there. He's been looking more washed this last year, and the energy around him isnt the same.

It might've just been that Brock was that good at working with him.

On paper Goldberg vs Cena or Reigns are big matches that they havent done, and I get making those happen on a Wrestlemania. The internet always wants everything to be about making a new guy, but sometimes you put the big match people want to see on the big show. Only problem is, I dont think Goldberg vs Reigns this year is gonna be a fun power match like Brock vs Goldberg was, I could see a clusterfukk.
I think Vince saw those big heavyweights Fury & Wilder last week and called an audible

Goldberg face 2 face with Roman on a Smackdown is "visual buyrates" to the casual audience.

I personally rather see Cena vs Goldberg if i had to just choose.

That’s how Vince sees it, but it’s really Canelo fighting Roy Jones in 2020

One thing i forgot to mention. WWE doesn't push Wrestlemania as "1 big mega fight" anymore with several undercard matches anymore

They like to have like 5 big time money matches spread around across the 6 hour PPV

The current formula seems to be...

1 big money match per hour with fillers

hour 1 (7pm) = John Cena vs The Fiend (good opener in my opinion)

*filler* (a tag title match)

hour 2 (8pm) = Edge vs Orton "No DQ"
*filler* (bayley match)

hour 3 (9pm) = Charlotte vs Rhea vs Bianca
*filler* (usos/new day type match)

hour 4 (10pm) = Goldberg vs Roman (shortest time frame of the big matches)
*filler* (hall of fame acknowledgment)

hour 5 (11pm) = Becky Lynch vs Shayna (Co-Main for the ladies)
*filler* promo filler and entrances

Main Event (11:30pm) = Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre (Drew's big moment to end the night)

I was thinking a lot about that earlier actually:ehh:
Really makes you wonder just what will happen when there’s no more nostalgia to siphon from anymore, and I’d say we’re only a few years from that reality. They bled the Rock n Wrestling era dry in the 00’s, the Attitude era in the 10’s, and now the Ruthless Aggression era in the 20’s. The only thing is, anything beyond that is still too fresh to retread and most of those guys are still around and active. Things will get mighty interesting once the well runs dry.

I'm still so excited :wow:

The way he unlocked a new version of the Jackhammer just in time to finish of the Fiend :krs:

All the possible match ups they can come up with for WrestleMania :whoo:

Now we gotta tune into SmackDown to find out :ahh:
