This beat wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. It could be that it was the best one for what Nas was looking to do. Either way, it's not as bad as some make it out to be BUT Nas has made waaaayy better songs. Although, these lyrics are on point.
Liked this track, and most of Em's beat, they weren't great, and did feel monotonous, derivative, amateur at times, but, I liked that they were dark and ominous, and they were a reflection of the era as well.
