Back when I bought this CD in 02..this was an instant skip..like everybody pointed out already..that beat is just :childplease:

He spazzed on the song tho..too bad cause that would have been a deadly beginning to the album..with Get Down and Made You Look.

the beat's not THAT wack

those strings in the background are dope, the keys just sound amateur as hell that's all

moment of clarity on the other hand, you can make a case for (even though i liked that beat as well :mjpls:)

I liked The Cross... I think the beat on this song wouldn't that bad cause Nas actually flow on it.

Liked this track, and most of Em's beat, they weren't great, and did feel monotonous, derivative, amateur at times, but, I liked that they were dark and ominous, and they were a reflection of the era as well.
