BGOL was just operating as a vendor back in '96, selling VHS tapes and shyt. He was really hoping to get BGOL poppin as a website on the level of Bang Bros or Brazzers.

The actual board didn't really get poppin until like 1997-98, I remember that shyt well because he was using that trash WWWBoard to get it started. Funnily enough, the actual board brought more traffic than the porn and so that's how that shyt started.

Sohh was a huge forum back in the day, lotta fukkery used to happen, dudes flying women into town, fake hotep moderators who were exposed as frauds, all types of liars and cheaters, couple dudes went o jail in real life, lotta stuff happened. SOHH was the first really large hip hop forum. fine women used to post on there, got knocked up and moved outta the country (not naming names).

i remember when ratehispanic forums closed i tried bringing the chicks there over to bgol, the black chicks on bgol got territorial and weren't having that, so then i brought them over to sohh but that was during the reign of **** so it backfired. they just stick to myspace, twitter and instagram now. those are the top 3 social networks people run to when forums die or get lame. i randomly found the sohh mod majinsting on instagram the other day. he lucky as fukk for not making it into sohhlost

I only started lurking SOHH after I went to former AHH Member Leon Bailey's Word of South.com. They had stolen a smiley thread from SOHH and I started checking it out. I lurked and then found a loophole through the email registration and was there for about a year before all this shyt went down

It really was like a David & Golliath tale of sorts. The underdog (@cook and @Brooklynzson) up against the GIANT SOHH monster (Felicia Palmer and all them clowns).

I've never seen a mass migration of posters leave a site and occupy another in my life.

They even banned people on SOHH for mentioning the COLI and even banned the word COLI.

I commend @Easy-E for being the last one to hold it down on the forum before the eventual collapse.
