That place was funny af from about 2004-2008.

So many threads: "y'all better get some sex" by TheIllest was a classic backfire, Courtdog Craigslist mattress thread, MS Paint rap lyrics, Ron Artest fan fight...

So many interesting personalities lost to the Internet ether: FemmeFatale and her HUGE box of dildos, RettaS, Celestial, ConsistentQueefs, Constance Connie, Logic86, KirKet, the dude that looked like Shirley Chilsolm, VictorianThug

One night during the nba playoffs the site was down the whole night due to heavy traffic

It had been happening way to often where it would be down for a day at a time and shyt

Somebody made a thread in the coliseum forum, and I think @portcityplaya made a post saying we should start our own site, a lot of us agreed, so @Brooklynzson and @cook put they brains together and created the site. By the end of the next night half of the forum was over here and posting full time. All of us who was full time over here basically went to sohh to promote the coli and they started banning us on site.

Soon after they whole forum was dead and they were coping pleas for us to come back, by night 2 this site had more features then sohh

They're gone most likely.

Projectcovo was acquired by another tech company that was seperate from SOHH. More than likely when the forums stopped being popular they had no reason to continue to host the forum.

It seemed like they were trying to create a social media aspect of the site with The Dougie. They wanted people to create profiles with pics and status updates like facebook. We all told them that was a waste of time because the majority of the people on the site want to remain anonymous. I dont think it was the idea of the original owners of the site. What came out after the hack and the repeated broken promises of updating the servers is that they had sold the forums portion of the site to someone else and didnt control anything that went on tech wise anymore. Thats how we determined they were lying when they said they were updating the servers when truth be told they couldnt update the servers because they didnt belong to them anymore. That was the final straw.
