The future of Total Slaughter would mean more money available to pay battle rappers. They'd basically get concert money, but with streaming and sponsors, the amount wouldn't be that crazy.

Battle rappers would have to be on their A Game to warrant the price as well. By A Game, it's more performance and the crowd/audience response to it. Bars basically decides whether they win or lose (plays a major factor).

To me that means all battlers should have a baseline amount unless you are clearly the main event and have some money up for grabs based off wins and losses.

40 K might have been up front money, then he made another 40 K based off his deal with the revenue stream money, money at the door etc...remember Lux is the one who came up with the PPV idea for the show and all of that.

It didn't happen because
1. Smack/URL lost the Webster Hall venue (which meant smaller capacity venue, less profit from the event, less attractive for sponsors)
2. Smack/URL refuses to do PPV

But if Smack still had Webster Hall, I think there was a chance that Lux would have gotten that 40k and conceded on the PPV. We can't say "Lux ain't worth" blah blah blah when it's now being reported he made more than 40k off of UW. We all knew about the 40k upfront asking price. But why would UW give him anything on the back end BEFORE they recouped? They must have turned a decent profit.

Only a handful of battle rappers get million view battles. Hitman always bragged about views but don't get paid off none of them shyts, no battle rapper has. Lux/Mook are the only smart ones to actually get serious money off their work in that ring. 40/80k (whatever the real asking price is) for 12 minutes of bars?! (4 minute rounds)....shyt it sound like a W to me as a man. Nyggas can't blame Lux, blame UW for accepting his offer.

and UW is still able to put out another card within six months. so they obviously not hurting.
