This is because the democrats have shifted further and further to the right since the 60s. They sold out to corporations and became war mongers.

Their biggest legislation in the last 30-40 years, ACA and Welfare reform, were very conservative.

Obama’s cabinet was primarily picked by Citi Group.

If we could just make an actual moderate 3rd party, I think it could sweep elections:

Inclusive, non racist party, but believes in exercising restraint in legislating too much in private lives
Fiscal responsible mind set, but makes the right budget cuts (bloated military spending etc) to pay for investments in education and healthcare
Gets rid of trickle down economics cuz everyone with a brain knows that shyt don’t work
Doesnt war monger, but still supports the troops and keeps people safe
Supports unions, but interjects when problems arise (police union, teamsters etc)
Change the criminal justice system without letting murders run free ....
