That's subjective. To you they're more prestigious. A guy like Marshawn might not care about any of them. Juicy J didn't dress up for the Oscar's when Three 6 won, but he dressed up for the Grammy's this year.

In the end I agree though that these guys shouldn't be shamed or applauded for what they choose to wear.

shyt idk...The organization he works for, the espys, the media, our society , his parents. Only Marshawan knows why he does what he does. But if he is trying to somehow make a statement by blatantly not giving a fukk then I think it does more damage to himself and maybye in broader scope our community. Ok I can understand that cherry picking thing but you gotta be real those two things I named are a lot more prestigious than the espys. I wouldn't care if someone dressed down at one of those events too I was glad Three 6 came as they were rather than feel the need to not be themselves. Why do you have to even make it an absolutist type of position to hold. People have the right to pick and choose when and how they dress up, for that matter yes they can go in boardrooms in jeans and a t shirt if they got that kinda power. I just don't like this bullshyt that just because Marshawn has the means to wear a nice suit he can't or he shouldn't dress like he would on the block. That's bullshyt.

But I would still have problems with the t-shirt cause why waste a moment to shine on TV with a t-shirt. But then dress up for other industry events that are not televised, again it goes back to being clear about what motivates our choice

For me, being on TV[regardless of event] would have me looking for some very clean-lined gear. Some may choose to be creative with their gear, but not regular with it

For Marshawn it's prolly not a big deal cuz he's always on TV plus it's obvious he's not into the formality of it all which is no big deal. I'm sure Sherm dressed up but that don't make him any less of a person. The only issue is making a big deal when someone makes the choice to be comfortable and its reasonable. I'd understand if this nikka came in a beater, some pajama bottoms, and house shoes but he just dressed like the hood nikka he is and if that's what he wants to present on TV that's his choice.
