It's really sad that you believe your vote matters. National elections are illegitimate. High ranking 'elected' officials are pre-selected. A great deal of money both domestically and foreign sourced are funneled into political campaigns which have way more power and impact than a vote.

America is a democratic republic not a democracy. You are twice removed from having direct impact. Once by the president, and then state representatives. The electoral college makes it so that your vote matters far less than those of your state representatives, and if you're not in a heavily populated state your vote matters even less. Not to mention the system disregards the majority of electoral votes, if 40/60 reps vote for a candidate, all 60 votes go to that candidate. Then there's faithless voters. It's not like your vote doesn't matter, but campaign funders effect an election 1000x more than a single voter.
wether you vote or not you have no power or say you fukking dikk head. voting is clearly in place just to see publics opinion or see if their media campaigns roi were parallel to results.
