. Go to Harvard and Cornell and be out of a job brehettes.
I had a 3.3 with a 30 ACT (got 27 junior year and was gone let it ride but then took again just to spite a classmate who said I couldn't get a 30). This was in Missouri where a 30 guarantees you a Bright Flight scholarship back then worth $2,000 a year. What set me up was scoring crazy high on PSAT which put me in the program to become an SAT Scholar. Once I qualified for that started getting full ride offers all across the country. Ended up missing my deadlines and my guidance counselor hooked me up with a minority scholarship to a university worth another $2500 a year and a business scholarship that covered pretty much the rest of my attention. Since we was broke a Pell Grant covered everything else. Only thing that fukked me was taking out student loans just for pocket money. Left school with 20K in loans and not a dime of that went directly to the school. Paid my shyt off finally like 3 years ago after years of ignoring it.
Preach brotha. Some of us did not have the privilege of being in a guiding or academic environment.see thats what Im sayin, you had help and guidance due to being a regular student
I graduated in a state correctional facility . I scored a 27 , 6 months after leaving a facility with no Bio, no Chem, no Trig, nothing. I had to self teach all that shyt.
Where was my guidance? My advice? Where are the grants or loans for nikkas that was in ma shoes? California aint shyt . I feel like a nikka was thrown to the wolves.

I know for me I didn't have anybody around to guide me on the path or teach me about money. Most people entering college have these wide eyed ideas about landing this amazing job that'll easily be enough to pay off however big of a loan they get. It's only when the real world hits and they see that the $100K jobs aren't just given out left and right and you really aren't going to make a fat salary coming straight out. Now days it's not as much of an excuse with the internet but I know for me I didn't know about searching out scholarships and how many different avenues there are for getting college paid for. Luckily I had an amazing guidance counselor who looked out for me and cared more about my future than I did at the time.no they really don't. these are 17-18 year old kids that just wanna go to college and further their education to achieve that "american dream" like they were brainwashed to do since pre-k. they lend out money to kids that have no means to pay it back. Who loans out 30K/year to a 18 year old with a minimum wage job/no job?
Attend Harvard for basket weaving bruhs

I just addressed this before seeing your post. I realized I was lucky as shyt to have had a great guidance counselor. When I fukked around and missed a bunch of deadlines for getting free rides he hit the phones and got different school to offer up packages so I could afford to go to school. My girl was pregnant at the time and I was fighting with her and her family about where I should go to school which is what lead to me missing my deadlines. Dude knew my situation and grinded for me. I got lucky. That's why I throw no shade to people that ended up with way more debt than I have because for a lot of people there aren't many options other than taking the hit now to set up the big check for the future.see thats what Im sayin, you had help and guidance due to being a regular student

on this. I really doubt a Harvard University and Cornell University grad is having difficulties like this securing a job. Not saying it's impossible but they have so many connections and resources to get you a job before even graduating compared to a regular state school.Preach brotha. honestly, your parents should be held responsible for that, not the school.
If you are getting private loans too just to go to a school you reasonably can't afford
the question is, who pays for it?

u a real dude for that brahschool is an investment, not a right or privilege. If you choose poorly, and don't position yourself to get a job in a field that will help you pay off and manage your loans, then that's on YOU.
