nikka, I was an out of state student but I did Navy ROTC to pay my shyt. I delayed my admission a year to goto ROTC prep school so I could get the Navy to pay my shyt. Thing is I "technically" was enlisted during this year. When I got to Tech the next year and did my ROTC shyt, I didn't realize until year later that I could have REALLY ate well being that I was a veteran and single student. I should' ve changed my home state to GA, applied for and gotten food stamps too. nikka, I could've been the king
I got booted out of ROTC years later at school, but still got my degree. Unfortunately I had to pay the last year and a half on my own, but it was with student loans and shyt (I got some regardless even with ROTC paying so I could cover my room/board and extra shyt). And to top shyt off, I had to pay the Navy BACK the bread they spent on me since I got

out of there for "aptitude". Anyway, I ended up owing 40k on regular student loans and another 40 to the Navy.
I'll be done with the regular loans next year, but I'll probably just continue to pay just the interest payment on my Navy loans for the rest of my life. It's like a hundred a month, no big deal.
The investment was worth it considering what I do now and what I get paid so
