Most private colleges like these are scams

They charge you more than a community college with bs promises its sad because a lot of immigrants get suckered into it and them get screwed

I have been a student at Everest since 2009. I received my Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies. When I signed up for my bachelor's degree, there were only 2 students in the program. Nothing was ever mentioned about low enrollment or the possibility of canceling the program. I have been forced to take classes online; my GPA dropped every time I was forced to take online classes. I have been charged for classes I have not registered for. Everest took the liberty to decide what classes I would take next quarter, all 3 online. I have been fighting with this school regarding online classes. I will not take them!

The program director is a joke! She is never there and dresses like a teenybopper looking for a good time! They tell us to dress professionally - practice what you preach! This school has been taking my money and giving me nothing - a worthless piece of paper! I am currently over $46,000 in debt and may not be obtaining my bachelor's degree because you are only allotted $57,500 in financial aid. I only have a little over $11,000 left! What a rip-off and disgrace to real colleges! This place makes me sick! Never will I promote this trash-hole to anyone like them or not!

"I was a former student at Everest college in Calgary a few years ago.
i moved back to Toronto due to an incident and wanted to be close to my family
before living, i was told i could come to Toronto and continue my education.
once in Toronto i went to one of their schools here to register, in which point i was told i had to start back to zero and pay the entire years tuition again. on top of that their credit was not transferable to any other colleges or universities. in 2012 in the building i work there is an Everest college i spoke to admition and they where surprised to ear my story and said they will contact Calgary, retrieve my transcript and enroll me to the program so i can finish it. in an other had they also told me the program no longer exist. i waited for the transcript only to be told they are unable to retrieve it as they have sold the school. i was contacted by a lady from college and yonge street, who told me they where able to find my name, but not my transcripts that i should contact the school in Calgary my self and there is nothing they could do to help. multiples attempts I've made to contact them no one has ever recontacted me or called me back. i'm stuck paying of a loan i can not prove the education.
i want compensation for all theses years i was unable to work on the field i was supposed to, i went to collection for this piece of crap school."

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. I have been an exemplary student, on the presidents list, and was voted in January and February by the rest of the class for PRIDE. I started the massage therapy program in December. I just withdrew in March from Everest College's Massage Therapy program due to a situation that occurred the very first week of instruction. I was approached in the parking lot by a student. He wanted my phone number and asked me to come to his home for dinner, that he was having problems with his wife and just needed someone to talk to. He was aware that I was married because on the very first day of class, we went around the room and introduced ourselves. I said, "I am happily married, have two children, and two dogs..." I told him, first of all, my husband would not appreciate that and second this is not appropriate. I went to the director of the massage therapy program and told her that this student approached me, what he said and how I responded. She told me she can't kick him out and that I probably misinterpreted his intention. She further stated, "you are an adult, deal with it". Mind you, during lab, we are working on one another, naked, with only a sheet to cover our private areas. I was forced to work with him in lab and allow him to massage me. He was not getting the techniques, he was rubbing and caressing, not using the techniques as learned while the instructor watched as I squirmed. This student constantly asked me why I wouldn't talk to him. You would think he would have got the message, but he obviously has boundary issues. Fast forward to March. I overheard him telling another student that he was going through a divorce and that he would like to have her number and "go out". Having studied with her for the past three months, I knew how she was going to respond. She told him no. At that point, I had had enough and said "(name withheld), I am sorry you are having problems with your marriage, but you need to go home and fix your marriage and stop bringing your personal problems to school. This is not the place. The very next class day, I was approached by the director of massage therapy and my instructor, taken to her office and threatened. I was told that there had been complaints about me. I was then treated like a five year old and put in the corner against the wall. I am appalled at the way this was handled. I went to the President, Terri Hines, to file a complaint and was questioned and treated like a common criminal. I went to the police and am filing complaints with everybody and their brother! SICKENING!!!

you gon cry in the car, honey

College been a big scam.

yeah, either you dont go to school and don't get a job OR you went to school and you got a job and they gave you a high salary because you did, but now they don't want to pay you that salary or they try to cut your hours or fire you, when all they had to do was hire you without a college degree and give you a low salary anyway.

But they think they so smart...

Whatever :shaq:
