The jungles look like a nice neighborhood. Why Cali thugs be so mad? Their hoods don't look like they're that miserable to live in. Even their projects don't look anywhere near as awful as those shytty rat-infested high rises in NY and Chicago.

I lived in LA last summer and my perception on what the hoods were like (based on pop culture) and what they were actually like was night and day. My cuz lived in Inglewood and her neighbor had a cookout for Independence Day. nikkas were in the front yard playing dominoes on a folding table. shyt looked straight like a scene out of Menace 2 Society. It was actually a good, drama free time in most of the hoods I visited. I was expecting shyt to be a warzone. nikkas be having well manicured lawns. LA is just beautiful all around.

Also, Sidney Deane and his family stayed in The Jungles in "White Men Can't Jump" It didn't look that bad in that movie either.
