No :ld:

Crippled and arthritic yes, but not so much punchdrunk. We see ex-pros on TV every day who look like theyre doing great, but we don't know what they're going thru healthwise unless they tell us. Its not obvious like boxing...

how are they hiding being punch-drunk?

I don't understand the question. Never said anyone was hiding

I'm saying the ex-football players that we see on TV look like theyre in good health so we aren't aware of any neurological problems they might be suffering. If they had Boxing Primetime on ESPN the way we have NFL Primetime (and a handful of variations on other networks) you couldn't find 10 well known ex-boxers who would be fit to speak on camera. Meanwhile Deion, Irvin, Steve Young, Aikmen etc are all on TV 3 hours a week and still sound pretty sharp...

Gator King outchea making some great points.

If im an owner im selling my team in the next 12-15 years. People been saying football was gonna end soon. I mean you hear the stories of the first wave. even the second wave that now cover the game tell their side. Herm edwards on first take says he cant run he can only walk. Eric allen still gets plenty of headaches, same with Mark schlereth. and these are just the ones they saying.

A lot of football players are still sharp post playing days. We only hear about the ones who arent doing well.

Hell I figured Al Toon would be a vegetable by now but he's apparently doing really well. And he has a son in the league...
