One player effects a larger outcome of the game than in the NFL where offensive players control one side of the ball and defensive players control the other. LeBron fans(and haters) alike convey this point more than anyone else. Why wouldn't NBA fans be on that tip?

:skip:

When he does right, he gets all the credit(as he should) and when he does wrong, most of the focus will be on him. He had a legendary performance tho. But NFL fans don't have much more depth themselves. Narratives and legacy run the gamut of talk when it comes to certain teams(IE the Pats and any team with a veteran QB).
Did you explain away my point about cukt of personality tied to NBA fans or not?

Blatt was a damn good coach, but lebron didnt want to listen. If the argument was you didnt have kyrie and love, then why fire blatt? Lebron doesnt want to be held accountable to a coach. He wants control. It's why he left miami, because Riley doesnt play that
damn good? lol how so? what nba experience did he have ?

Most of you fakkits in here cant even handle taking a L in a proper debate without getting in your feelings, let alone handle being pressured by another poster.

Seeing y'all criticize lebron for being mad at this very moment with whats at stakes, is PURE COMEDY
These same nikkas criticizing bron for losing game 1 is the same nikkas thinking about offing themselves when a bytch ghosts them lmao

NFL fans aren't just as trashy? All those republiCACs in the stands. Imma fan of both leagues, but let's be real. Go to an Eagles game, Pats game, or *insert Northern NFL team* game and rethink that statement.

:usure:
Number one, we are talking sports discussions. NBA fans are by far the worst when it comes to stanning or hating players in the midst of shytty sports discussions. youre so caught up into NFL hating when neither NFL or MLB fans are on that bullshyt to the degree NBA fans are with their “at the moment” posting and stan/hater war discussions. That stupidity is unique to NBA fan boy culture.

Number two, ive been to both Foxboro and Philly for games. What was I supposed to be scared of?

My point was sports culture as a whole produces cult of personality types and produces narrative talk and hero worship and fanboy stanery. The reason why it seems that it happens more in the NBA is because one player can effect a larger outcome in basketball than in many other team sports. LeBron goes to XYZ team, and that team becomes an instant contender. My point is, the cultish stannery in the NBA in comparison to other team sports can be validated(to a degree :whoa:)by what what I said above. Either way, whether it's in the NBA or NFL it can be annoying. Ring talk, legacy, unnecessary blame and narratives is a sports thing in general.

it's easy to say Bron or Lue should've said this or that a couple of days after what happened. What happened in the last minute of the game wasn't usual in any shape or form. the game could've ended with Hill hitting both free throws, and it would've still been a memorable one because the foul call change. In the game thread, most posters weren't even paying attention to the overtime because of the crazy shyt we just saw (I don't honestly remember a single basket in the overtime) So it's nonsense to wonder what Jordan or Bob Cousy would do in that situation because we've never seen anything like that before. the fact that the Warriors are the heavy favorite not to only win but to sweep the cavs, make the blow worse.

if I have to blame anybody I'd blame the assistant coaches, Philly Handy, James Posey...etc, they're supposed to speak out and cheer up the team. Lue should've just focus on the game plan for the overtime.

His lil princess hissy fit extended from the 4 minutes on the bench after regulation, all the way thru the entirety of overtime... They didn't have a chance....I question who is the emotional leader of that team in the sense that draymond is for the warriors... Apparently it was Richard Jefferson in years prior... Only person who I could even envision doing it this year would've been Wade had he had time to grow into it...sure as fukk ain't Lue or Love ...I assumed that's the sole reason Kendrick Perkins was brought on, but he doesn't seem to do shyt but get pressed by a different warrior every game :mjlol:

They didn't have a single person on the team to attempt to get LeBron checked back in mentally and try and win the game
Yeah this is when they actually missed James Jones and Richard Jefferson. Even Kobe needed Derek Fisher.
