What could Lue have possibly said to make Bron react like that? :heh: He wasnt even tripping off of JR

Bron: "We didnt have any timeouts? :dahell: You try to call timeout?"
Lue:

This is stupid.

In that moment Lue should call a TO?

This happened in very few seconds, I could see if JR was dribbling the ball for like 15 seconds..

Bron couldve called a TO just like Lue if thats the case.

No. You switch in the NBA these days. If you try to fight over the top Curry's driving to the rack unguarded or any easy kick out.

Shooters are too deadily to fight over screens. Why do you think the Warriors who are far better defensively never fight through screens when LeBron was roasting Curry?
When Curry drives you help off of Looney, Draymond etc. Not KD or Klay. Besides, if he makes a contested layup, you deal with it. Eveyone else can switch, just not Love

Bron was asking for the ball for the first 3 seconds then tried to call a timeout. Lue is the coach, he's not trying to shoot a game winner. Call a timeout :heh:

David Blatt or any competent coach...would have called a timeout. It would have been discussed before that second free throw.

But that's what Bron gets for trying to control the coaching duties and giving it off to friends :mjlol:

Dumb. Instruct for a timeout when you get the rebound on your own basket - just to have to take the ball out on the side?

Breh, you want to get the best possible shot to end a game. It's clear a scramble like that wasn't going to work with this dumbass team.

The ONLY one who would have POSSIBLE put it right back up is Kevin Love.

Korver, Tristian, Hill and everyone else? Panic.

An inbound pass that will be heavily defended against the GS Warriors is not the "best POSSIBLE shot"

In that moment you go to the sandbox and let that shyt develop, look for contact and get any shot off in an effort to draw a foul.

Youre on your end of the court and got your own rebound with a few seconds left - you play that shyt out.

I could see if they were on GS side and got the rebound - thats when you call a TO.

the BBall IQ on here is terrible

Nope, you draw up a play to secure the last possible shot. Especially with the way LeBron has mastered ending games that are tied. Dude was completely unstoppable in game 1.

GTFOH if LeBron does not get that rebound you call the TO immediately.

So when was Lue supposed to call the TO?

When Bron was asking for the ball?
He should have been right next to the ref and called it when he saw JR wasnt taking the shot and was having a mental meltdown. I didnt even see Lue in the picture. He should have been near midcourt. I would say between 2-3 seconds.
