Madden 25 is not trash tho
hell madden 13 wasnt either
they had their flaws, but i had plenty fun with both

if EA could bring back mvp baseball that would be welcomed

Problem is that the companies who own the licenses want too fukkin much for the license. If we need to go back to the old days of numbers and made up characters then so be it.

But we got 2 weeks until this...

And as much as I want that game, I'm not gonna buy a brand new system for it. Mainly b/c there's not much else on the horizon. But if NCAA was coming out, and then a good Madden, I'd already have a PS4

:really??:

I understand what u are saying, there is a big problem with the lack of sports games

but u were wrong in saying that the sports games are the system sellers

No, I'm not wrong.

There's plenty of ppl I know, myself included who ONLY bought a PS2/PS3 for sports games. Now that era seems to be over. My point is, it's leaving money on the table for the industry overall. So it's going to hurt the industry in the longterm, which is the thread title.

MLB the show and the NBA2K series has only gotten better.

Madden is trash and unfortunately NCAA games appear to be gone forever

Gotten better within their own world. But not truly better in the grand scheme of things. Not how live was truly better than bulls VS. celtics. Or how 2k was truly better than Joe Montana.

Those days are gone where Madden was a system seller. FPS runs the game now. Gotta adjust with the times. :manny:

Post contains a whole bunch of nonsense as usual from you.

MLB has a GREAT career mode and NBA2K has done some very good things with their career modes and legends as well. Tweaks to the gameplay are made every year as well.

Madden, FIFA, and the NHL games would benefit GREATLY if they emulate some of the things those 2 franchises are doing.

I do wish arcade titles would come back though...those games are fun

The Show is leagues better than any baseball game to date. The amount of options in which you can play this game is insane and it still maintains it simulation game play. There is no baseball game in the same park as the show, and I have played damn near all of them.

Yeah anything not praising a playstaion exclusive is nonsense to you.

The career/ franchise mode in 2k is largely the same as it was the first time out. Same with the my career mode or whatever they are calling it now. In some cases it has lost features.

Not too versed on the different versions of The show, but the one I did play a lot 2012 it didn't feel any different than the MLB games I played heavily on PS2

I don't see how you can claim these games are so much better and have so many improvements then claim madden has not.

They've all changed/evolved about the same amount since the ps360 came out

Umm there are no other baseball games :what:

You can say that the games are better than madden(opinion)

But you can't say they've evolved or improved more than madden this gen. That's just not a factual statement.

What separates "The Show" is it's sheer options on how you can play, it is the first and only sports game that allow you to play on 2 different difficulty levels within the same game. On Def, you can be a rookie and Hitting you can be a HOFer. The wealth of Pitching and hitting models are unsurpassed. You can play this game with just buttons, analog, motion controls, or a variation of all of the above as well as in 3D.

Keep spinning meach. Mostly everyone is in agreement with Madden these days. That franchise was ass an entire generation.

If EA would take some of the franchise stuff from mlb the show and my player stuff from nba 2k it will feel much fresh and different than the roster updates EA has been releasing yearly.
