This aint a bbb thing nikkas (people in general ) have been stealing and destroying from within since the begin of history.

your closes enemies are the ones who break bread with u, word to judas :francis::mjpls:
But Lonzo didn't have to have his own money tied up with his dad's friends.

Think about it. What kind of friends would cluster around Lavar Ball over time? He comes off as someone who out for himself and his fam all the way and ain't loyal to no one. So why would his buddies be any different?

Lonzo should have been making his own moves, his own decisions, with his own cash instead of having that stuff tied up in his dad's dreams and with his dad's friends pulling the strings.

Not saying that's how everyone needs to do it, but if you have a dad like Lavar....

His pops seem like the type of pops to side hustle his son money

I wonder at what point Foster saw Lavar and the Ball Family as a legit opportunity?

He became cool with Lavar in 2010. Lonzo would have just been 12 at the time. People are wondering why LaVar didn’t do a background check? Well they knew the guy when the friendship was actually genuine. There was no need for Foster to hustle the Ball family at the time.

Now Foster is watching Lonzo grow up. He’s becoming really good. At some point, he becomes convinced that this kid will probably go to the NBA. He goes into wolf mode. He plays the long con on Lavar.

Lukanga seems really genuine based on the article. I can see him gaining more clients based off this.

Look at how Lavar talks about his sons and how long he's been planning all these moves. Even if Lonzo was just 12, LaVar already would have been hyping him up and talking about how all his sons were going to be pro athletes and all that. No way he was keeping his mouth shut.

I wouldn't be surprised if Foster came in thinking, "At the very least, I can be the one who hooks them up with their college and gets the side money." Hell, for all we know that's exactly what happened - someone at UCLA could have slipped Foster $20,000 to "deliver", and who would know?

They up all up in this thread ...real giddy about this situation....u can tell they could not wait for any negative news about BBB ....to me this reads as if they are on top of the business they found this pretty early and didn't let it get to 10s of millions later on down the line... if this brand ever "pops" off like that ...they'll keep pushing and learn from this
Nobody is giddy about this. This whole situation is :snoop: A mom and pop shop is missing $1.5 million and you think people are on top of things? You can't just walk up to an ATM and withdraw $1.5 million. This guy had to have been draining the company for a long time and nobody was even looking.

They should've taken notice after those first JBA game checks were late. That ESPN reporter sure did. Wouldn't be surprised if he's connected with the ESPN Reporter they cut loose after he was making bullshyt stories.

I worked for a company where Bounty Hunters came in to arrest a co-worker for a warrant in Las Vegas. bytch got sent to Clark County Jail for two weeks and still got her job back :dead::mjpls: She was still let go a few months later. My manager was wanted in a county two hours away for statutory rape five years prior. He only got caught after applying for a Real Estate Company that actually ran his background info

I swear we worked in the same circles, too many similarities with my coworker. :dead:

I was working in my very first job as a teenager, had been there 3 months and started slowly noticing that my register counts were off every once in a while. One day I clearly notice $10 missing. I think this one chick is responsible, so I decide to tell the manager. He tells me to count again, now the $10 is back but it's the wrong damn bill, I had remembered the $10 that was missing. So I realize that HE is responsible. He starts saying shyt like "loose lips sink ships" and getting up in my face, not making direct threats but giving mad violent body language. This is at 11pm at night, we're closed and it's just me and him, I'm 16 and about 6'0" 170lb while he's like 35 and 5"10" 250lb, I'm behind the counter and he's standing on the other side right next to the only way out. Seriously thought he was gonna try to beat my ass or something. I don't back down but manage to talk my way out of it.

Problem is this manager and the owner are tight as hell, he's the guy the owner trusts with everything. So I get home and call the owner at midnight, tell him I'm quitting cause I know he won't do shyt.

Like 9 months later, America's Most Wanted shows his freaking face on television saying that he's wanted for rape of a minor in Vegas. My friend an assistant manager who was still working there calls the cops, they bust him right at work. :heh:

Their sons were friends, which is how they met.

Do you really think he decided to con LaVar because he said his son would be a pro athlete when he was 12? That doesn’t make any sense. Parents can be very delusional when it comes to their children.

What does make sense is that he saw Lonzo develop over the years, and thought to himself this kid has something.

It wasn't just that Lavar "said" it. Lavar has been plotting this since before his kids were born, right? If he heard Lavar talking the whole thing up, and he had really laid all his plans out like that, and if Lavar even had business ideas and side hustles and stuff already sketched out, I could see it. Especially if Lonzo was already showing skills - by 12 you already got a decent idea of how good a high school player they'll be at least, and both his parents are tall.

I'm just throwing the possibility out there. I don't know Alan like that, I'm not saying it happened. I'm just saying that it's possible he was moving with this in mind even since all the way back then.

Lonzo and his did took a risk. Both won't get their proper due until15-20 years from now when it becomes the norm for top athletes to build their own brand from scratch.

It’ll benefit them like Spencer Haywood starting it all benefitted him

.....on a garbage team that will have no impact on the overall ecosystem of the nba

no contender is gonna put up with the fact that your starting PG frequently scores 2-3 pts per game....

Only way this could happen is if Lavar wasn't looking at the books or if he had no clue about the numbers he did look at
