The Truth
Fukked around and got a triple double tonight

11 pts, 11 boards & 11 assists.

And in just this highlight reel alone (didn't even catch most or his best assists) I saw Lonzo blow by nikkas to get into the paint 4 times...

Doesn't show when Lonzo blew by nikkas and PASSED up on easy shots to pass to other shooters...

@Roddy Right says he doesn't get past defenders though:camby:

He's been impressive and handling the criticism like a seasoned pro.

His shooting numbers look bad, but if you even watched the two preseason games, the shyttier players on this summer league squad that will be in China next month have been giving him the ball with 3-4 seconds to shoot.

It's just summer league...I don't expect him to impact the Lakers at his age just yet,

When he's 22 and settled in ..... :wow:

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
I knew he was going to bounce back after the first game. I like alot of what I saw out there minus the bricking and defense, but boy, that Dlo trade is looking more dumb each day. I'm sorry, but front office have to take an L on this. He would have made Lonzo's life so much easier. Ingram would get his with and without Lonzo and so would Russell. Lakers would win alot more games this upcoming season, but now it feels like they're basically starting over. :snoop:

Whether he deserves the criticism or not, his dad has literally begged for Lonzo to get criticized like this when he came in.

Blame his father, not no one else. His dad has spent the entire year drawing a target on him because he wanted to hype his company. Don't complain about the criticism without acknowledging the source.
Gotta have enough sense to realize it wasn't Lonzo saying or doing any of this

You talkin about acknowledging the source? Then the criticism should GO to the SOURCE, a Mr. Lavar Ball...it ain't Lonzo fault the media and nikkas in this forum bought into the hype, lavar sold the hype n yall fell for it.

Be mad at lavar or be mad at yaself for believing him but that nikka Lonzo is just a bystander in all this shyt and nikkas need to understand that.

Just imagine ya coworkers givin you a hard time for some shyt ya parents said like you have any control over them, shyt makes zero sense

wait...so yall don't know why DLO had to be traded?
It was to get rid of that mosgov contract. they want to get rid of that Deng contract to. might have to let another youngin go. aint nobody taking on that trash contract unless you throw in some sweetner. and that's either a pick or a young guy who was just a top pick(DLO). they offered late picks. the nets said nope. so dlo had to go.

they didn't want Clarkson since he has a more expensive contract. ingram is not on the board to be traded at all. DLO was a casualty more or less.

they aint listening to pops. these lazy fans just don't pay real attention to detail. listen to Lavar. POINT GUARDS AINT JUDGED ON STATS. the problem with todays fans and players is, they are actually judged on stats and not wins. that's the problem. which is why you have a league full of PG's dropping 30 and losing or not making the playoffs or getting sent home in the first round like they didn't belong there.

he's right PG's are never to be judged on anything but did their team win. did they help their team win by being a floor general. to do this you may lose an assist getting the ball up the court faster to a teammate who can hit another teammate for a bucket.. you do this enough times. you will not have your assist numbers.

lonzo got 10+ assists tonight without playing like cp3. where you dribble...dribble...dribble...dribble. then hit someone for the bucket. imagine how many assist he would've had playing that way? but if the team loses. who cares? zo doesn't, neither does lavar. and neither should any other fan.

Yes, you're right that the criticism should go to Lavar. That's my whole point. Don't blame people for putting Lonzo under a microscope when Lavar has been doing everything possible to beg people to put Lonzo under a microscope.

But as far as Lonzo goes, you can't just disassociate yourself from the family business when the whole family business is promoting YOU and you choose to work for the family business. He's a man with a job, he can go his own way if he doesn't like the heat that working for his dad brings to his life. But it's stupid to cry like it's unfair or unexpected when he's chose to promote for a business that has already declared him the greatest guard in NBA history before he has done anything of note.

I don't know what league y'all watchin but the NBA I watch currently is a scoring league.

"Elite" passing is only good in a system where you can score as good as you can pass, otherwise you just stat padding. This cat not the future, I don't care what nobody say :mjlol:
