CP3, Conley, Magic are pass first point guards.

Don't try and steal them for your argument.

Rose & IT3 are perfect examples of what I'm saying.

They don't get their teammates involved so when their shots aren't falling, nobody knows what else to do.

Again, YOU CAN'T SUSTAIN SUCCESS that way.

Steph plays on an ALL NBA team. Nothing he does counts here.

Put him on Detroit then talk to me.

Fam.....I'm not arguing whether they are score first pg's or not.....the point is they score....and can fill it up...20+ per night......you don't think that helps them be pass first pg's:francis:......you have to score in an offense first league like the NBA has become.....if curry or it is puttin in 30 whoever is opposing him at the position has to at least account for about 18pts.......you have to tire out the guard on the other end......reason why curry has such a problem with uncle drew.

John Stockton was a superb point guard so was Steve Nash, both thought pass first....but were lethal because they could put up 25+......NBA pg's have to score......they don't in highschool and college.....but in the nba it's must:yeshrug:

Of course he has to score when needed and he's already shown he can do that.

Shooting is something that NBA players improve over time.

Magic and Kidd were terrible shooters when they came in the league and Magic's shot mechanics were damn near as bad as Lonzo's when he was drafted.

And Stockton and Nash damn sure weren't capable of putting up 25+ 2 summer league games into their careers.

Give the kid some time.

Crazy how dudes talking about a rookie like this is his final form. I think he has a ton of up side. I think we'll be revisiting this thread in 3yrs.

These motherfukkers don't care, they just wanna talk shyt. Even if he had shot better they'd be in here talking shyt, they'd just focus entirely on his defense.

Ultimately everybody knows Summer league doesn't mean shyt. We've seen plenty of guys tear it up in summer league that don't last in the league, and we've seen guys have terrible summer league performances go on to be all stars and future hall of famers.

Everybody also knows that players (especially ones coming into the league at 19) aren't finished products. It usually takes 3 or 4 year to see what they really are.

Like I said though, nikkas just wanna talk shyt :manny:

thing is he not even a bad shooter. his shot just off, he was a legit 40% shooter in college with 200 attempts

I heard the Lakers are fukking with his shot right now which is why I think it'll be a lil minute before he shoots like that again.

I know who Jason Kidd is and I nkow he was eating triple doubles, I think Lonzo is going to be a better rebounder.

jason kid was a triple double machine. he rebounded and passed like a great pg. and he could get into double digits scoring wise without a 3 ball.

lonzo in college could shoot wayyyyyy better than kid. like its not even close. and lonzo was hitting nba ranged 3's in college. jkidd was bricking college 3's.

jkidd didnt buy a real 3 ball until he got older.

so if you want to be technical. lonzo offensively could end up being a better version of jkidd. i said..OFFENSIVELY. Kid was a bigger dude naturally even though he was shorter. therefore he was much stronger than Lonzo. jkidd had excellent onball defense from day 1.

J Kidd is a HOF pg, easily top 10 PG ALL-TIME. The man is a CAREER 9 APG. He had seasons where he average 11 APG with only 3 turnovers, That's damn near a 4-1 assist/turnover ratio ON AVERAGE :mindblown:
