Just from 2015 highlights, rookie D'tective looks better than Lonzo in everything but passing. DLo shot better off the dribble and from beyond the arc. He had more effective hesitation moves and finished better in the lane. He could steal too. That said DLo looks look very slow and doesn't seem to get faster as he runs. I think Lonzo is faster than DLo but that's only because DLo FLo is very slow for a PG not because Lonzo is fast.
I'm still a DLO stan and I haven't seen him do what Lonzo did yesterday or show that kind of potential. DLO was getting locked up by fukking bum ass TJ McConnell both summer leagues. Stop it. Lonzo makes guys better. DLO didn't. It's simple. Lonzo is gonna be responsible for massive contracts.

Lonzo gets locked up too. I agree he makes players better through passing but if he can't shoot, finish at the rim or play elite D, I don't know how much he can help the Lakers. Russell can make his own shot at times; Lonzo can't.

We'll see I guess, but the fact teams were sagging off Lonzo and letting him shoot because they knew he would miss is a bad sign.
They weren't necessarily sagging off. Lonzo was just shooting from way behind the line. I highly doubt the gameplan was to sag off on a 41% shooter in college on 5.4 3PA.

How many point guards you named? When so lost in these combo guards that we forgot how traditional point guard plays. Lonzo is pg, not a score first combo guard.
