Famous black stars are split about its meaning, too.
Comedian Chris Rock, in his routine 'nikkas vs. Black People', distinguished a 'nikka', which he defined as a 'low-expectation-having mother-f****r,' from 'a black person'.
By contrast, the late Tupac Shakur distinguished it thus: 'N****rs was the ones on the rope, hanging off the thing; nikkas is the ones with gold ropes, hanging out at clubs.'
No wonder, then, that white people may be even more confused as to whether 'nikka' is actually a racist or offensive word.

just like I can react to what they say around me the way I feel like reacting.

thing is this, a large segment o fblack people DO NOT say the N WORD
the majority of these cacs only experience with blacks is through music, its not cool.
PIERS MORGAN: Don’t get angry about a bunch of white girls singing n***as, blame Kanye and the rap industry for putting it in their songs in the first place

Yeah, I saw a popular black Conservative YouTuber Anthony Brian Logan do a good video on this:They sound stupid and low-class saying that word just like black people sound stupid and low-class saying the word.
Black folks need to have a come to Jesus moment & demand Rappers to stop using the N-word in their music. I'm tired of having this debate.
