at the amount of hate
Hoyer the Destroyer is receiving in here. This isn't a tale of how bad Johnny is, yet. Johnny went from a system with no playbook to one of the most complex verbal systems in the league. 15-20 words per play. Then you take into account having to learn protections, etc. Unlike some of these quarterbacks, they've ran pro systems. Any person with a clear brain or didn't fall for the media trap knew Brian would start because he had the verbiage down & could go in his progressions without hesitation. Lack of maturity played a role, schedule played a role, etc. I'm not a Johnny fan but there's no way you can call dude a failure because he didn't win the job off-the-bat when he would've needed a miracle to get it in the first place.
At the end of the day, I'm happy for my QuarterGawd & I'm about to keep tabs on all of you pissing on the greatness that is Brian Hoyer.
