Remember these JBA guys for the most part are kids that either didn't have the grades, the attitude or the support they needed to play at the NCAA level. There's even some that had legal issues. Lavar is approaching this with a Last Chance U/Tough Love type philosophy and probably expressed the need to have coaches who could handle players that were a little "rough around the edges". That doesn't excuse this coaches behavior, but I think he probably understood that philosophy and just took it too far.

Lavar don’t care about that shyt he just tryna showcase his sons, you think lavar wouldve let that fly if it happened to one of his boys

Some of you nikkaz love this shyt. Your son could have a white coach, and you'd walk in on practice and see the coach has hired Klan members to sit in the stands to intimidate your son and y'all would be like "That will get him ready for those games in those rural towns:mjgrin:"

Everywhere...You never there.
When I was in 8th Grade some dude’s dad hopped out the stands to fight a coach over something like this. The kid was walking away from the coach on the sidelines, so he snatched him by the jersey and started going off on him.

His dad jumped out of the stands and ran up on the coach so fast nobody could stop it. That coach was such a jerk, that none of the other coaches even liked him. He was just a lonely, mean spirited guy. We all savored that ass whooping :ahh:

Real shyt ... I know a lot of these dudes in school, unfortunately, don’t have their dads around ... but for those who do, I never understood why those dads would let flagrant shyt like that slide .

Another man is not about to get in my face headbutt me, push me in the the chest and tell me what the fukk im going to do.

When I played ball my dad told me never let a coach put his hands on me and never let a white coach call you boy in any way

Pops a real one :salute:

Exactly. My dad taught me the same thing. He told all my coaches before the season even started that if they put hands on me, he's not going to the file a complaint to the league office, he's gonna handle it himself in front of everybody.

But seriously, what kind of father is ok with a coach putting hands on his son? Some of you nikkas have undisclosed issues y'all need to work out...

1)This is a professional league
2) You weren't getting paid.

Let Ty Lue or Doc try this & nikkas would be up in arms:francis:
So coaches was giving you Detroit nikkas the rock bottom at practice huh?

nikkas aint up in arms about him talking shyt to the player its the headbut and to a defeetthe shoving.

You let man thats not your daddy put hands on you???:picard:

Assuming dude even telling the truth, it really doesn't matter. I played sports my whole life all over this country, all the way to college. Never in my life had a coach thought for a sec he could pull up on me like that. I've had hard coaches that popped shyt but the way buddy did it wasn't coach shyt, that was fighting shyt and he would've got his ass folded up and jumped by my position group for it.

These nikkas trying to act hard about how they got coached and this light work really just showing that they was soft as shyt when they were kids. Wasn't no coach running up on me like that for damn sure at dudes age. They'd be too worried about having to see me or someone like me. They gotta think you puss to do feel comfortable doing this shyt.

I teach my son to respect the team and the coach. Stand up for yourself, but listen to the coach and be respectful...but with that said, you lay your hands on my son like that and coach is gonna catch size 13 boot stomps to the fukking head.

Get beat up in front of your son and still have the coach putting hands on your kid, yeah that's the right move
