Herb already got street classics among the youth and you can argue he should have been on this shyt years ago. Dude is a real lyrical street rapper branching out that drill movement.

Dave East holds down the fort as the traditional NY street rapper, he got the co-signs, solid tapes with industry features, the look, and an interesting backstory with his basketball dreams and drug dealing in Maryland.

Kodak has "IT". I literally been bumping that Lil B.I.G. Pac all day the past couple days. He talks that street shyt and just has that authenticity and conviction within that Southern drawl. He makes that motivational street music and has mad charisma, dude is a self-proclaimed Nas, Boosie, Soulja Slim and B.G, Lil Wayne, Turk, Juvie fan.

Anderson. Paak that dude is a legitimate musician period not just a rapper.

Desiigner gotta put more music out but he got a number one record. I dig his energy and if you see his Hot 97 Freestyle he could ride beats and potentially got more bars than Future.

Denzel Curry been grinding for years and he's another dude who could straight up spit.

This site seems to only fukk with Paak and East because former is a R&B soul singer and majority of this site is so they will appreciate the smooth laid back souns and East is as u said plus brings that small reminder of 90s.

I will say this - I hate 99 % of trap music, what it represents, how it sounds. It is honestly bad music, it has zero value to me and basically shyts on everything the real rappers had built from the beginning.

If Hiphop needed to be reinvented, then a bunch of mumbling idiots with similar beats, is a bad way of doing it.

But one thing is clear - I will listen to the classic tracks until the day I die, all of these songs and artists will be forgotten after a few weeks or months.

And I will save you some time - I'd rather be than a listener of this crap.

I agree about Mic, but he should've made it around the time the Waters dropped though. It's been a while since he dropped a dope project.

Lil Herb/G Herbo been a beast though. Dope spitter and emcee that has dropped tons of great music and 2 damn near classic projects. If you tuned in just a little bit, you've heard about him.
